Ex-GSA head apologizes for $800k conference

Martha Johnson, the former chief of the General Services Administration (GSA), apologized Monday for a lavish four-day Las Vegas-area conference in 2010 that cost taxpayers over $822,000.

It is as bad as they are making it out to be. The important component you are missing is that private companies aren't asking the tax payers to fund the lavish Norwegian Cruise Lines vacation. This convention was paid for with tax dollars that Americans worked hard to earn. We are in a recession. People take to the streets because the wealthiest aka job creators aren't "paying their fair share." Where are the masses in the streets at this continued mis-use of hard earned tax dollars? We have no control over the spending or the waste and all we ever hear is more taxes, more taxes, more taxes. Where's the outrage at this? were above being audited. Disgusting.
