I have recently read the book 'Sweet Poison Quit Plan' by David Gillespie who is also the author of 'Big Fat Lies', a book which shows that Polyunsaturated oils (seed oils such as 'vegetable oil')are, along with sugar, killing us. I also watched this lecture about the dangers of sugar....

I am astounded by how much undisputed evidence there is that both sugar and polyunsaturated oils are killing us yet still our food chain remains saturated in both substances? Most scientists have found major flaws in Ancel Keys research on fat, which was the basis for our belief that saturated fat was bad for us, yet still we are told not to touch it and to instead use polyunsaturated oil which has been proven to be very bad for us and is even suspected of being the culprit of the high cancer rate?
Sugar, or more accurately the Fructose in sugar (sugar is half Fructose and half Glucose), has been proven to be a very dangerous substance yet this information is withheld from the general populace who keep consuming it at an alarming rate. I don't know why anyone would be surprised at the current obesity rate when you consider that in 1910 we were consuming 1kg of Fructose per year on average and in 2010 we were consuming an average of 33Kg per person!
I guess the biggest question of all is... why are all the governments in the western world ignoring all of this evidence? Perhaps their plan to deal with the baby boomer's generation is to let them eat themselves into an early grave to save a few trillion dollars on social security payments? I mean it makes economic sense if they only have to care for them for the next 15 years instead of the next 30 years doesn't it?
Good on 60 minutes for bringing this deadly substance into the awareness of the masses who have been kept in the dark for way too long!

Any excessive amount of a substance even that's good for you can be toxic if you have to much. lncluding water, salt, wine, vitamins and meat and even celery. GMO is purely toxic, BPA is deadly, All the chemicals that we have n our food is horribly toxic. The FDA doesn't have a problem with it. Hates raw milk though, humans have only consumed it for 20,000 years, but let's arrest people that sell that at gunpoint and let GMO's and BPA get a free pass, huh?

An doubts that the Government and Food Processors are in cahoots would be allayed by the PINK SLIME of Feces in fine textured meats. The French do Food Labeling Right, Natural means as found in Nature

I first heard this extreme statement (sugar is toxic) when I was in the thick of my undergrad. I held out to my initial reaction that this was an exaggeration until I really dove in to the research. I think we all have a lage emotional component to our reaction when we hear somebody tell us the truth about sugar. Sweetness is a taste so emotionally comforting that it is often our refuge when we need a break from the trials of life (chocolates, ice cream, cakes, etc.)

Refined and processed ANYTHING is bad for you; not just sugar. Couple this with low grade, highly Genetically Modified pseudo-food, and you're just a diabetic disaster waiting to happen. There are legitimate sources of getting your "sweet" fix in organic products. The government "food plate/pyramid, especially diabetic related are specifically and intentionally designed to FAIL! It is a known fact that the sugar substitute Aspartame, when subjected to heat turns to formaldehyde. Using these substitute sweeteners is a certain and slow death. I highly suggest people watch Food Inc. to become educated in the nefarious role the government has in purposefully drugging America with sugar substitute, flouridated, rat poisoned water, and Genetically Modified cancer causing foods. *Incidentally, the "flouride" which is used to treat water or your toothpaste is NOT food grade, and is the same substance used in rat poison. HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup) is a foreign substance in any animal digestion. Cows are herbivores by nature; corn is NOT a "natural" diet for them, as it cannot be easily digested. There is a current commercial by the "corn growers association" that states "your body doesn't know the difference--sugar is sugar"...What a complete and blatant lie! ANY diabetic can tell you that. It makes a difference whether or not your kidneys or livers can process it and how long it takes. HFCS is in EVERYTHING. The American government knows this, and purposefully poisons the masses. Which is why there is no standards for GMO labeling; it is much more strict across the pond. The nefarious NWO is hell bent and on a fast track to shut down natropaths, alternative therapy, vitamin production and raw/organic growers. They must be stopped. Sugar is just the tip of the teaspoon.
