Sylvesta (sp?) is the second most despicable character in this tragic story, second only to the man who actually committed the murders. Sylvesta, I hope you're reading all these comments because you need to know what people think of you. Beside the fact that you have no soul or humanity, you looked like the idiot you are by trying to defend your choices and mistakes. Hopefully you'll admit them to yourself & ask God's forgiveness before you die or you may find yourself in a place far worse than death row.

I have a LOT of respect for Kelly Seigler(sp?). She's an amazing prosecutor but she's also an honest, forthright person who stood up for justice and against the former DA, who I'm assuming was once her boss. Being aware of some of her tactics in the courtroom I'd thought that she might be one of those attorneys whose primary concern was her win/loss stats. But now I see her zeal as a sincere need to see that the truly "bad guys" get their due. Good for her!! She could make a lot more money at the other table.

Anthony Graves' belief in God kept him sane for those long horrible 18 years in prison. He never wavered from the truth, forgave those who asked for forgiveness and thanked God for the truth setting him free. How can anyone think any amount of money would be enough to compensate for the loss of family time - I was grateful to read at the end of the program that instead of holding onto bitternes, Anthony is giving back to society - leaving revenge to God. A special thank you to all the people involved in seeing that an innocent man was exonerated!

As someone with a degree in Criminal Justice, its obvious that this is another case of race = guilt! The prosecutor went out of his way to ignore, and cover up evidence/testimony that would have at least, lead to lesser charges, maybe even caused the case to be thrown out. Instead, he actually created/fabricated evidence to further his case.
Then the Texas BAR association dismissed the complaints against this guy? He himself should be locked up for his actions, he willfully sought to deprive another human being of life, even cause him to die. That is attempted murder, wrongful imprisonment, ect. We prosecute and execute terrorist for the same crimes he committed, in the name of justice! Give him what he dished out!!!
The financial settlement Anthony Graves was awarded, is a JOKE! I guess we know what value the state of Texas puts on 18 years of a life!
The worst part is, the way the CJ system works, you are guilty until proven innocent, and people are wrongly convicted/sentenced every day!

Thank God, Anthony Graves was finally exonerated! I pray he is able to go out and live his live to the full. No, he was not adequately compensated for the time he spent behind bars and the pain and anguish he and his family had to endure.

Couldn't believe what I just watched on 48 hours, Grave Injustice. How does an incompetent, immoral, moron like Charles Sebesta become a District Attorney? He's a disgrace to the Texas legal system. At least I know now what happened to Forrest Gump. Stupid is as stupid does.

This is the reason why the attorney should not get a free pass with immunity. Its this untouchable mentality that drives them to "get em" at all cost. There is no true justice when there is no accountability in the system, this goes for the judges to -NO IMMUNITY!

I think that the D. A. in this case should be disbarred and ordered to pay this young man for 18 years of false imprisonment. I feel that he knew that he was inocent and just didn't want to keep on looking.

And... he was NOT fairly compensated for having 18 years of his life taken away from him!

The male DA needs to be prosecuted, he withheld evidence, cohersed a FALSE claim, he manipulated the system illegally. Texas legal system is a joke they tend to mess up A LOT, maybe if they didn't take race into factor so often. Grave's deserved a lot more compensation for losing so many years of his life just because a DA violated the law is poposterous, he needs to keep trying to sue the DA and then win. Once he wins and gets all the money the DA earned from trying him then there will be fair justice.
