- I have listened to Aerosmith since the 70's. I did not like Steven Tyler or Joe Perry,as people, but I liked their music. I would not allow my daughter of 16 or 176 to buy their albums. Because of their drug use.I now think Steven Tyler has grown up. I think he is a much better person as well as front man for the band. I think Joe Perry is still jealous of Steven and always will be.I do think Steve is incredibly talented and I still wonder at him writing a song like 'Drean On" at 17 years of age. He was always older than his years. I hope he continues on with his band until he can no longer climb the stairs to go onstage. Then I hope he retires to his beautiful home in Sunapee, N.H. and lives happily ever after.Rock On Aerosmith!
