The 'bad/sad' part of this, and something that was pointed to several times in the Broadcast - the 'focus' on Sports and Athletics.

Please America - put Sports and Games back into proper perspective.

Use them as a 'tool' for learning some 'Old Fashion Values' - the way 'School Games' were intended.

Team Work, Co-operation, Sporting Behavior, and even at times, yes - Sacrifice.

Those 'Social Skills' we all are supposed to learn in the Sandbox during recess

How to 'work and play well with others' - Valuable Life Lessons

.

But what are we doing in USA ?

Got to WIN WIN WIN, Go Team Go, Kick Their Butt

Ok, and then what ?

A person's 'Peak Moment in Life' comes at 17 years old when they make the Winning Score ?

That's it ?

Oh, ok, they get a Scholarship to College - probably not, but if so, then what ?

Go Pro ?

Yea, right - play the Lottery, better odds.

.

No, get over 'Sports and Games' as THE Answer to Life.

Is a 'tool' to 'practice' for Real Life.

How it was designed in first place by British Public Schools 150 odd years ago. Teach Gentlemen how to be Gentlemanly during 'situations', and at the same time get a little exercise and fresh air.

If don't want to do it that way ?

Then go back to the old fashion path we're now heading down in USA.

Just skip the 'game' and have a Gang Fight in the Parking Lot.

Or in the Political Area, Community Commons, or other 'Institutions'.

What we're moving to, if not already there.

.

Remember - it all starts at Home with Parents and Family

Teach Your Children Well

Then that 'Big Game' won't be the only 'Big Thing' in Life
