Sheriff Arpaio says Obama's birth certificate is forged

Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona, announced Thursday that his six-month investigation found that "probable cause exists indicating that forgery and fraud may have been committed" in the release of President Obama's long-form birth certificate.

Its now approaching the end of May and still no sign of a congressional investigation. He's not going to be investigated regardless of what evidence may present itself. Clearly the President is now above the law in the United States. What happened to your republic?

Why was there even any question about it? Where there is smoke there is fire. Isn't it time for impeachment, and fraud charges? What more do people need? We as American citizens need to take back our country.

What more evidence do people need? It's a shame that people can't get over the fact that the wool has been pulled over our eyes. Anybody that believes his birth certificate is real is a sheep. With all of the forensic experts and multiple pieces of evidence pointed out, how can you say that it is real?

I guess that since I have never been across the Atlantic Ocean that Europe doesn't exist. I've never seen it so it can't possibly exist, right? That's the logic you idiots are using.

That's exactly what you idiots who think his birth certificate is real are doing. You are just going by what you are told and ignoring evidence. even when proven by outside experts, you still deny the truth. Sheep!

W O W! This is major. The right thing to do is for Congress to appoint an independent counsel to investigate ASAP. If the sheriff's investigators' findings are accurate, we have a serious problem, way more serious than what got Bill Clinton impeached.

As to many of the comments I see here, they seem to have already decided, one way or another, and are attacking each other. CUT IT OUT!!!

I for one would like to learn the truth. From an unimpeachable source...an independent counsel appointed by Congress, with authority to obtain whatever information is required to lay this matter to rest, permanently.

The scientific method of discovering truth is the foundation of western civilization. It requires collecting and verifying facts. It requires the practitioner to create an hypothesis and subject that hypothesis to the agreement of facts that have bearing on it. It requires a conclusion that the hypothesis is true or not true. It requires the hypothesis to be tested by collecting more facts. The whole process can be repeated by anyone any time anywhere and any failure of the hypothesis can be noted. A theory emerges as the hypotheis is repeatedly verified and cannot be negated. A scientific theory allows for its own negation by submiting the conditions that would disprove it.
Sheriff Joe's posse report contains all the above. The theory that Obama's birth document is forged has been confirmed. That he does not have a birth document is another matter that can be settled by his opening the Hawaii records to a forensic investigator team.
Sadly, most of the debate over the Arizona sheriff's envestigation goes to matters that do not focus at all on the investigation itself. A scientifically proven set of facts stand alone. It does not matter whether the facts are popular or not. Elections and surveys and emotional outbursts do not change a fact nor do they introduce new evidence.

I'm not a "birther" nor am I affiliated with any political party; however, I am a digital imaging expert. After viewing six videos of the process used to determine whether or not the pdf file of the WH birth certificate was a scanned original or generated with software applications, it is evident that the document was generated.

People are still in denial because they think we have the "first black President" in the WH. I have news for all you liberal idiots, we don't. And by the way, Democrats were the first "birthers" in 2008 when they (Obama, too by the way) asked John McCain for his birth certificate. They then signed a Senate Resolution, stating that McCain was in fact a natural born Citizen. Look up Senate Resolution 511, if you don't believe me. Obama was one of the sponsors of that bill. So those of you that think a presidential candidate is "vetted" by the FBI, etc. you couldn't be more wrong.

Therte are still plenty of racists in this country. They just can't get over the fact that we have a black president. So, they make stuff up about him not being an American. If any of this was true, don't you think Hillary or John McCain wouldn't have brought it up during the last election? It is amazing how many total idiots have posted on this board. This OVER ZEALOUS SHERRIFF Arpeio's Treatment of of even the most trivial offenders with the most minimal charges (everyone makes mistakes) is outright Appalling, and He thinks He's Omnipotent and can walk on water. So based on his outright cruelty and mistreatment of people in general, it's no wonder He'd focus on kicking a dog when He's down. Looks to me as if He may be thinking of running for the presidential office next term around. MY GOD...COULD YOU IMAGINE THAT NIGHTMARE? HE SERVES GREEN BALONEY TO HUMANS IN HIS CARE. WHAT'S NEXT... DOG FOOD? SOomeone should thoroughly investigate this tyrant!
