http://youtu.be/BiqmjlFAu74 Please see if there is any way you can find out what happened to over 220,000 oirphans who were used for experiments and then before the age of 10 years they were all summarily executed in what was called the HOLOCAUST OF CANADA and is directly7 relATED TO THE ABUSE AND MURDER BY THE rOMANH cATHOLIC cHURCH and this all emanates dirtectly from ROME and the Vatican... Its a horrific crime against humanity which should have been detailed long before now and for which I was one of those children who was adopted at three years of age and somehow removed after being used and abused by the Roman Catholic nuns and priests and orphanage administrators like it was so cruel and it is a huge crime against humanity which needs to be exposed now please as I am dying and we need closure now.......sincerely from one of those DUPLESIS ORPHANS I am one of those orphans who survived here is my true story above......

Not sure which brought me to tears-the content of the story, or watching a priest brought to tears speaking of abused little children-wow! Takes a lot of Love for the Lord and Children to stand up to the Catholic Church this way! Amazing Man of God! I would make the trip to Ireland just to be blessed by the archbishop.

I love the Catholic Church. I believe they are getting control over this problem but what about the abused protestant children? Don't they need help?

I have watched 60 minutes for years and have never been motivated to write. The segment on the ArchBishop of Dublin has moved me to contribute my observations.

First, Sir, thank you for taking a stand for all the children who have been abused at the hands of leadership in the church. It is not just the Catholic Church. Many children who have been raised in the protestant church have traumatic history as a result of sexual abuse by those in leadership through the church. While senior pastors, our youth pastor raped and sodomized our daughter. She held that information as secret in fear that we would somehow pay a price for her abuse. When she disclosed two years later, we prosecuted that man through the civil system, while the relgious system tried to protect him. In fact, the religious system threatened us with termination if we proceeded with the prosecution. They said that we would no longer have a career. Humph! It was never a career. It was always a calling...and no church gave it...and no church could take it away! God Himself called us to serve those who need to know Jesus with skin on. The perpetrator went to San Quentin for ten years and we left that denomination to find another place to serve where God has destined us to be. I have pursued/completed my PhD in International Pediatric Traumatology, serving children around the world who have experienced abuse. Some at the hands of poverty, some at the hands of the Taliban, some at the hands of other church leaders, some at the hands of war...all at the hands of adults who could have protected them.

Your service of redemption, repenting and washing of feet, addressing the memory of trauma, seeking the forgiveness of God for the destruction of the childhood of so many has received the favor of God. Continue to be the voice of reason to the Vatican. If I can help with your cause, I can only hope that there is a way to reach me through this venue. I see many Catholics who have realized such abuse. That you would be the feet and hands of Christ will restore the faith of many in the love and grace of God. Please don't give up. I will be praying for your outreach and persistent courage. Leadership must never be allowed to hide their heads in the sand of such disgusting self pride. Being the face of repentance for Christ is so encouraging. Thank you for your faithfulness. Jeni Gregory, PhD, LICSW Heartland Counseling

I was quite moved by your 60 minute program about Archbiship Martin and the child abuse issue in the Catholic Church. His courage in standing up for the abused children and his tears of passion for them was moving. As a catholic, this is the first time I have seen any person in authority actually weep or have an emotional response to this shameful blight on the church.....Kudos to Archbiship Martin!

As a survivor of sexual and physical abuse in Catholic high school, I would like to thank 60 Minutes for this interview with Archbishop Diarmuid Martin of Dublin. The Archbishop's celebration of an Atonement Service indicates an incredible comprehension of the reality of the sexual abuse that has gone on in the Church.

His Grace, Dr. Martin, is the only outspoken Catholic prelate who seems to grasp the depth of the problem that has been systematically covered-up and denied for centuries. I have just included the CBS teaser segment on my website: www.bergencatholicabuse.com

I bow deeply to Archbishop Diarmuid Martin of Dublin, Primate of Ireland....

CATHOLICABUSESURVIVORSNI.COM--- THE ISLAND OF ''IRELAND'' IS TWO COUNTRIES, 26 counties in the south under irish goverment rule, 6 counties in the north under british rule in its capital in london england , never have i seen a sentence world wide in relation to the catholic churche child sex abuse scandal make the difference, the irish goverment has addressed the problem to some point compensation to most victims and a sword taken to the vatican not ideal but fair play to them, in NORTHERN IRELAND we have a pretend goverment called the stormont executive or council house, not one hypocrite in there has ever taken the child victims of beatings , neglect , terror sexual abuse committed in childrens homes run by the rcc and paid for by them under their attention a total cover up akin to the auschwitz camps of the reich, WE THE VICTIMS DEMAND JUSTICE IN AUSCWITZ ULSTER ? we call on the usa to expose the rcc child sex abuse in northern ireland worldwide.

I would just like to say that I think Archbishop Martin is my hero! I read the text of his service of atonement and it was beautiful. The humility and sorrow he expressed were genuine. Having heard plenty of "lip service" from other Church leaders, I recognized his words as being distinctly different in nature. It touched me deeply.

To put that into context better, 4,392 clergymen (some were deacons) were ACCUSED of sexual abuse, but not necessarily guilty of it. That represents 4% of active priests. I would like to know what the number of sexually abusive teachers there are in the U.S. I daresay it is more than 4,392.
