- Wish someone who had an iota of idea about Chess did these interviews. Shame that he kept refering to it as "board game"

- I have read the latest book of Magnus Carlsen, and there the infinity of chess is explained like this: There are 20 possible opening moves in chess, but already after the second move there are 72084 options for the pieces to move. After the third move there are over 9 millions, and after the fifth move there are almost 85 billion options. The complexity of chess is estimated to shannon number 10 120. It's like if every person in the world were playing chess 24/7 using 1 minute per move, it would still take 14 billion years to explore all the variations of the first 10 moves:)Pretty amazing if you ask me:)

- So chess is like Game Theory...which can be mind-numbingly in the possibilities as it based on the moves and counter-moves of your opponent.

- Wow just when I'm willing to step away "they pull me back in" Chess as warfare? I like that.
