Being unemployment for now almost four years (8/20/08) I sit here and read all of the recent postings for any one of us who have been labled "out too long", "not current", "99er", "freeloader" or whatever negative term who indeed holds a job today can say about any of us. I ask but one question, "Try going through what we all are going through in this country" and see how you might feel. The things I took for granted, a job, food on the table, a roof over my head, gas in the car, a pair of shoes, health insurance, things that any normal individual has when employed. Today, I look at the priorities in my life, and you know what they are? Everything, as unemployment stops your life in everyway except for me anyway, to KEEP ON FIGHTING. I am in a state wherein the unemployment rate continues to hold at nearly 10% where there is so much devasation and desperation that it is almost an impossible task, but I continue each and everyday to pursue a career once again.

The past 3 years have not been the change we were looking for.
It's not all Obama's fault, but he did promise to solve the problems we STILL FACE.

This documentary was inspiring as I struggle with the same issues as the people in the video and I too have had negative experiences of being badgered.interogated<sp> to explain ANY Gap in unemployment...I had a gap as small as two months and when asked the infamous "what were you doing...." It takes everything for me not to scream..."What the HELL do you think I was doing....LOOKING FOR WORK!!! If it wasn't for my faith I don't know where I would be....
