What a great piece of trash Scott. Does he get do process?, do he get a fair trial. Sure Scott perhaps YOU could go over there while these terrorists are shooting at our boys and offer to bring them back here for a fair trial. Perhaps offering them a happy meal or a trip to Disney (it IS the happiest place on earth you know). But I doubt you'd want to leave the safety and comfort of your home.

Like Secretary Gates before him, Mr. Panetta has done a fantastic job. Too bad he couldn't convince his boss about this unjustified & dangerous forced downsizing of the US Army.

You talk about a possible third world war (nuclear)this lightly?
Humanity is under the attack of a plutocracy that most don't even know the name, corporations dictate the death and suffering of thousands of families, children who don't even know if they are black or white, American or Iranian, Muslims or Christians, are killed and maimed on behalf of corporate interests. The empire of the three cities requires us as members of Nato to stain our hands with innocent blood, and control media articles to deliver REASONS for it?? And worse, US citizens are conviced that such a wonderful Intelligent gentlemen as the Secretary Of Defense has some real justification ( except for Gold, Oil & Drugs (GOD))to justify the murder of their fellow human beings in the Persian area, with whom we deal and have bussiness for centuries in peace, that had to close borders and mentality in the 1950s due to our western coups. Al qaedawhat??? We'll go everywhere??? Europe and America are currently the greatest threat to the correct evolution of man, we are seen by the true elite (not the political puppets), as mindless consumers, "sheeple" to manage, culling and slaughter. NEVER the death of an innocent is justifiable based on economy and numbers. Make no mistake, Russia, China and India are watching while Syria before Iran falls in a plan orchestrated over 15 years ago... Oh, the Americans they taught us universal human values and then where co-opted by the sociopaths. this is not what the Portuguese started globalization for.

"Their life for their country..." - send the politician kids to die. Stop Iran from getting the A bomb??? get real... 3000000 people in the "defense"??? Holy jeee!!! Choose Love!!!

We,Our United States Of America are so blessed to have such a wonderful Intelligent gentlemen as our Secretary Of Defense as with many other countless Americans I can feel safe and sleep well knowing MR.Leon Panetta is in charge working hard with countless hours and alway's on call to lead our Nation and protecting us 24-7 plus.God bless him and our and Great Nation and all levels of our military of men and women around the globe.On land,sea,air and space as well.

@ RAGEE - are you so ignorant to believe that the CIA were just twiddling their thumbs until Obama and Panetta told them to get after OBL. You need to read up on the chain of events that led to the "courier"; all of which took place during the Bush Admin. Get your facts straight.

- President Obama's deputy national security advisor, John Brennan, confirmed that the death of bin Laden resulted from "a mosaic (of intelligence) appearing over time and by ... people who have been following bin Laden for many, many years."

Mr. Panetta is too kind to the Pakistanis! We can be certain (without ANY doubt) that someone at the top of the Pakistani military establishment approved Bin Laden's being housed in Abbotabad - someone like Kiyani or Pasha (head of the ISI - the intelligence agency). There is simply no way (repeat NO WAY) Bin Laden could have been living in a garrison town in Pakistan without their explicit knowledge and approval - especially in a huge compound with 18 ft walls. The Pakistanis are not stupid and security in garrison town's is very tight.

I am familiar with garrison towns in South Asia - there is no respect for privacy there - even in democratic India someone notorious person cannot take up residence in a garrison town. The military makes it its business to know who lives near these camps and they can be very intrusive when they want to find out - to hell with fundamental rights.

Lets be absolutely clear - the Pakistani military establishment was sheltering and hiding Osama. Congratulations to Panetta and his team on eliminating Osama (without telling the Pakistanis first - otherwise they would have whisked him away and this would not have been a successful operation).
