This aweful and creepy, considering I was born in Lowell and this is the next town over. Very disturbing -- but no surprising.

So remember this when they want a vote on removing our guns, thank god this man had some training to put this big goof down. Talk about a family rising to the occasion !!! Thank god you guys were all there and worked so well together to put an end to this maniac.

Really glad you guys lived to tell about it !

The commercials SUCK. I keep getting commercials playing over and over, in full. Impossible to see video. CBS sucks for loading this with commercials like this.

Can't fast-forward back through the video to get his name, but that bald headed New Jersey cop is the epitome of excellence. It would be nice if police departments still recruited and hired guys like him. Sharp mind, patient, a gumshoes diligence and not afraid to get his hands dirty to get the evidence to make sure the charges stick. Impressive.

it's terrible that life in America has come to this...I grew up in the 50's and 60's, when it was relatively safe during that era..now, even tho I try to make my house secure, I still fear for my life, stories like this make me feel more insecure during these times..we have enough to worry about, with the economy, and family situations..I feel for thes families that had to go thru that traumatizing experience, just pray for the best!

I feel so bad for this disgusting animal's family. His wife and daughters must feel such loss, and then disgust and hatred. You think you know someone, and this is what he really is? I can't even imagine what they are going through. They are innocent, but will live with the guilt of the attacks on these families forever. I hope he suffers alone until the day he dies - getting the death penalty would have been easier on him, at least this way, he has "forever" to think about the distruction he's caused.
