Veterans Lehrer, Schieffer talk debate moderating experiences

As the 2012 debate calendar fills up, two veterans, CBS News' Bob Schieffer and PBS' Jim Lehrer discussed their experiences as moderators. Lehrer has moderated 11 of the past 35 presidential debates and details them in his new book "Tension City: Inside the Presidential Debates, from Kennedy-Nixon to Obama-McCain."

That was 7 minutes of my life wasted that I will never get back. Of course I came here to hear his comments on a terrible performance last night, But all I got was noise. It's disturbing how "serious" newsmen are all turning in on themselves for validation, and disregarding the obvious.
