- The man is obviously NOT drunk, and there is nothing "bizarre" about his speech. It's refreshing to listen to and understand a man who speaks from his heart about his solid belief in his God, his country, his fellow man and his family. Unfortunately, there are far too many people in this country who don't understand any of those things. Governor Perry's gesticulations, facial expressions and hesitations are simply part of his being; his style of delivery. I would listen to him any day rather than that ranting, jug eared subversive who currently occupies the White House. It's important to remember that freedom does not come from government. It's a gift from God. Semper Fidelis USMC and happy 236th birthday.
