Regardless of all else, the Madoffs are living off other peoples hard earned money that they were swindled out of. Therefore, they (the Madoffs) should have to account for every penny they have and repay those people even if they (the Madoffs) are left pennieless. Also, I find it very hard to believe they (Ms. Madoff and her son) claim to not have known what was going on when all that money was (ROLLING-IN).

Dear friends,

We Need Economic Growth Today!
Otherwise International Monetary Fund (IMF) will own the USA with a Extremely Huge Nation Deficit!

Advice:
President Barack Hussein Obama,
The United States Congress (the House of Representatives & the Senate) and
The Chairmen of the Federal Reserve(Ben Shalom Bernanke)
Must create an USA Committee on Stockbroker Supervision in order to:
- Creates standard on how much Capital(SAFETY NET) stockbrokers need to put aside to guard against Charles Ponzi or Bernard Madoff schemes!
SO THAT STOCKBROKERS CAN PAY THEIR CLEINTS ON TIME!
- Check or Audit if the Stockbroker are following these standards, so that
investment fund withdrawals are not financed by subsequent investors(Charles Ponzi or Bernard Madoff schemes), but by Profit(ECONOMIC GROWTH) obtained through investment activities!

Just listen to how evil Bernie Madoff sounds as he describes the suicide death of his son...as a father..it makes me physically ill. There is a nice spot in hell awaiting this couple. Especially as they fight with the dead brothers widow over who will get the first book on the market.
Want to see a true journalist look at the memorial tape of Joseph Wershba, who worked with Edward R Murrow!

I don't believe her. How could she have not known? If they had the kind of marriage she says they had, this is one amazing secret to keep from your spouse. She was upset and staggered because the feds were coming to arrest Bernard and the good days were over.

You've just created what can only be called "investertainment". Did management take your spy glasses and trench coats away to save money? Investigative reporting indeed!

I will not be tuning in on Sunday. I hope a lot of other people do not tune in on Sunday. I hope it will send a message to the CBS powers that be that their viewers are not only not interested in but also disgusted by the amoral behavior of this family. The "poverty" and unhappiness that this woman purports to be suffering may seem real to her, but is insignificant in comparison to what has been wrought on the many victims of Madoff's manipulations. Why are you not focusing your story on the individuals in the SEC who were incapable/unwilling/politically pressured at the time and were not performing their duties to consider the multiple red flags that had been formally presented and protect the public from what many insiders recognized as an illegal Ponzi scheme?

I have seen people with money act as though no thing to be concerned with.

some people who have become extremely rich have also become, conveniently

blind to other people and society as a whole or have a serious corruption of

Consciousness

Is this broad going to get paid for this interview? Royalties on the book??
Why is this person all teary-eyed in the interview? This stuff happened a long time ago... I guess it's part of acting contrite? She will have to continue to be a good actress if she expects people to believe she enjoyed all the things the "Good Life" offered and had NO CLUE as to Bernie's underhanded dealings.

Will she get royalties? If she does... is she going to give them to charity? Repentance seems to be great as long as it doesn't affect the pocket book.
