October 23, 2011 12:14 PM

Steve Jobs was already gravely ill with cancer when he asked author Walter Isaacson to write his biography. Jobs told Isaacson to write a honest book - about his failings and his strengths. Steve Kroft reports.

I just finished Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. For me, Steve Jobs and his biography are a huge deal. The main themes in the book: being a people person vs being blunt; open vs closed systems; and being a product person vs a business person.

There are other themes that don't show up. For instanc,e I'd like to ask Isaacson if Steve was a little more calculating than that. Weren't games and the game industry part of Steve's mentality? He certainly knew about Atari, Nintendo, Sega, EA,3DO, Sony etc. He knew about the advantages of having someone own a format and collect royalties on all products that played on it. Did Steve really stumble into the itunes and app store business model, driven by product issues? Or, was he more financially caculating than that?

Think it is way past time to get over Steve Jobs. He did what he did to make money, and lots of it. It was probably some poor slob in a cubicle somewhere who "made his vision a reality". That poor guy is probably eating Ramen noodles and worried about how he is going to pay his mortgage. Get over it. There are many more important stories to cover other than rich guys croaking.

perhaps someone can help explain the how a quantum computer can work with sound instead of light.

now explain how people can suck the 'energy' off someone's body. it's what I've been living through for over 3 years after living in Chicago and having my energy sucked off my entire body a number of times... including the energy coming off the top of my head. The people who did this to me call themselves the "Dream Team". Considering the fact that we are nothing but walking radios with our very own frequency, with our heads TVs (think of your dreams) it should be pretty easy for others to tune into our all of our thoughts and using our computers however they please.

---------------------------------------

the following exercise is the best way I can explain what I've been living through without the abject horror of it... right now I can't feel anything except having my head fried with a satellite...

Throw a pebble in a still pond and watch the rings getting bigger and bigger as they ripple outward.

Now step in front of a really loud speaker with a lot of bass and think about those ripples -- big and small. Think of the world as the pebble you threw in the pond and all the 'sounds' eminating from it as
the rings of the water rippling outward in the black void of space along with your very own number rippling with it.

(consider a bomb going off in the distance, what is it that will blow your house into smithereens? the bomb or the 'ripples'?)

Now, think about your 'vibrations' with and without the speaker. Think of the vibrations going through every point of your body and consider your body as the speaker -- think of your feelings and thoughts right now.

Consider your 'number' as your feelings/emotions just like the radio your playing, with every thought, feeling, and emotion as the sound eminating from your body--your speaker. A very specific 'sound' that can be 'picked up' just like the radio station (or cable, internet, etc.).

Consider other people as 'sponges' that can feel you as you walk by them... keep thinking about that really loud speaker and the vibrations reverbating through your body. Every person you walk by is the 'speaker' you 'feel' (the 'chemistry' between you). Now turn up the volume on their 'speaker'; just as you felt the sounds of the speaker, you can now feel them and their thoughts.

Now reverse the whole thing, think of them as feeling you by turning up your number as they 'use' your radio and speaker -- turning up the vibrations of your entire body including your thoughts and feelings -- so they can not only 'feel' you but also manipulate you.

Now consider a magnetic card reader as you consider your own source of energy, your light, and your 'number'.

-------------------

look up the article from last december in Scientific America about the 'dual' universe. consider the energy of the world and all the people having their very own number and their own lights. now consider them all being 'utilized' as a perfect computer they can call "god".

there was something about RFID tags and how they currently don't last very long which is why they aren't currently suitable for use in people... needing an engine similar to the heart in a body of salt water ... how would this work?

and RFID tags aren't even needed if you consider somenoe walking up behind you with a gadget similar to a magnetic card reader to 'read' the number of your brain stem to get their ball rolling.

Great news story. Actually inspired to read the book. However, there is an innacuracy in the Story. Palm was the first company to combine the phone, the address book, music, and video onto a single device. All this was available on the Treo products. Even the later versions of handhelds had pretty much everything integrated except telephone capability. So sad what happened to Palm in the end.
