President Obama on Monday defended his push on raising taxes on the rich at LinkedIn town hall. An audience member encouraged Obama to raise his taxes.

- What a total setup this question was! A multi-millionaire smirk on his face. If this guy wants to give more taxes to the federal government he can do that today! Just go to www.treasury.gov and donate. It is just that simple! Last year a 'bunch' of link minded liberals did just that. They donated money to the national debt. They donated $1.5M, enough to run the federal government for 13 seconds. I have always said that the reason why Liberals want to raise taxes is because they have no intention of paying them anyway!

- The country is in need of help and the people who have most benefitted should certainly take part in the pain of fixing things. Anyway as the bible says it is easier to get a camel through the eye of the needle than it is to tax the rich man behind the tree.

- I was watching when this farce was aired. LinkedIn put this shill into the crowd to get that question asked. As Mike, from the LinkedIn forum pointed out, the only thing missing from the broadcast was a public broadcasting style plea for donations.
