Is no one concerned that America is becoming more and more of a police state. How many freedoms are we willing to give up in the name of security?

I think it's a good IDEA to be inform the public what's happening to our country, especially like HUMAN TRAFFICKING information, nevertheless, a loyal advocate for TWITTER.

I don't like this for a few reasons. Why is it that the rest of NYS is always forced yes, forced) into paying for NYC's politicians to have what they THINK they have a RIGHT to (lets just keep raising those taxes)? NYC's politicians do not think or care about the rest of us. They have proven that time & again, in soooo many ways. Also, they think they can make up their own rules, while flexing their muscles, in arrogance, to the people carrying their weight! I have never understood why Albany sends more financial assistance to them, bends to their every whim & lets them run a muck! It's as if NYC politicians have the impression that they are their own country! HELLO, NYC politicians, like it or not, your city is only a tiny part of a very large country, where we share the same laws & regulations as a whole!! Furthermore, we have a DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE who is MORE & FULLY CAPABLE of DEFENDING THIS COUNTRY! Are you saying that you don't have any confidence in our military? Are you saying that YOU can do a better job? Your arrogance is pathetic! There is a HUGE difference between military & police! You should be MADE to step back & let the pros handle it. Let them do their job. As far as I'm concerned, NOBODY can do it better! There is NO justification for this! None! Make all the excuses that you can, but that's all they are! Quit squandering this country's money..hello..this country is in the middle of a recession..duh! Yes, we do love our beautiful city of NY, just like we love the rest of our country. But you need to start ACTING like an equal!

It's weird to me that 60 Minutes as an arm of CBS News wouldn't ask one question pertaining to civil liberties. Not one.

I'm retired from NYPD and am so proud of that organization; I wish I was still there.

All this information that people seem to think is top secret..is ubsurd. People who sit around and think about how concieve terrorism don't need television journalist reporting them information on how to create terror. All you people who are armchair intelligence coordinators just stop making comments...there is stuff that the counter terrorism unit will not expose to the public so therefore it isn't mentioned. 60 minutes is decent in their reporting they make you think you have the whole story on the unit which you really don't. Keep dreaming you know more than what you think you do because all you people don't know anything.

Talk about "Big Brother", our politics in the Middle East have brought the average US citizen one step closer to 1984. Or is it Atlas Shrugged? Tis a shame that the US Government feels they should follow policies that make this paranoia necessary. "What you sow so shall you reap." This is what people who think nothing about making enemies have to suffer from. Why does the US have to be like Israel and New York?

I also cannot believe that we provided the information that should be kept secret. It just gives anyone, any country all they need to find a different way to attact the United States!!! Why do we keep doing this? We have all the ways to detect the enemy, with all the information we have provided them, they can figure out new ways. I think it is wonderful we have the ability to create this type of security, why can't we keep it at home, like it should be???? I agree with the person who commented, "just too much information"!!!!

I'm watching and this is a creepy story. I think I just decided to avoid NYC's museums and Broadway shows. Seeing them is not worth giving up my right to privacy.
