I agree with Dr. Paul about the TSA as well as on many other issues like roping in the FED, bring the troops home, and balancing the national debt. I also like that he is willing to except the median American salary of $39,000 while in office, clearly a man of the people.

He may not have the a deep and smooth talking voice, but he is the one candidate who speaks the truth! So far, Ron Paul has earned my trust and vote. It's a shame that others are more swayed by Ken doll types or a man who has the same financial tax plan as a Sim City game (9-9-9) for president.

"When the TSA introduced full-body x-ray scanners and enhanced pat-downs at U.S. airports last fall, it prioritized public compliance over public acceptance. Given the coercive tools at its disposal, the TSA correctly presumed that it could force civilian acquiescence to this more intrusive passenger screening process." - Stephen Flynn (Foreign Affairs, May/June 2011)

I have to agree with Ron Paul. I will not vote for any candidate who doesn't include TSA reform as part of their platform.

TSA has done little more than harass and molest passengers in a ruse intended to portray airport security. There have been 45 TSA screeners arrested since December, an average of over one screener each week. These crimes range from rape and child molesting to assault and theft. No wonder TSA complaints are up 40% over last year.

There needs to be security, but there also need to be limits. It is not a security at any price proposition. If that is the case then just shut down the airlines.

TSA is mainly interested in getting stupid Americans to agree with their fear mongering so that they can justify their bloated budget to Congress. DHS and TSA both need to be shut down and security returned to the FBI and FAA where it belongs.
