What a shame! Drake is a hero, not a traitor.
This is one more instance of the wastefulness of our
military. Extrordinary people like Mr. Drake and his
colleagues ought to be preserved, not prosecuted.

Another reason not to allow generals to spend a billion dollars on failed projects. They are incompetent in work best left to civilians. Drake should be recognized as a hero and the real villains and thieves should be exposed and fired, if not tried, for the harm they have done to him and the nation.

The National Security Agency is a total failure. Their incorrect/fabricated data is costing tax payers millions of dollars. Most of the agents spend more time eavesdropping on family and friends phone calls than doing the job they were assign to do.

Whistleblower laws were created to protect those who are witness to government corruption. There is no one policing government actions. As such, the job falls to those who can sum up the courage to stand up for what is right. It is not an easy thing to do. In fact, it is hell, and with endless resources at their disposal, government agencies can drag whistleblower cases on for years, thus ruining careers and bankrupting families. I applaud Tom Drake for his courage to act.
I ask too, that you please continue to do more segments on the treatment of whistleblowers.

Excellent piece on the Tom Drake case. What was the defense contractor on Trailblazer? What was the outcome of the DOD/IG report? Am looking forward to your followup about the contracting, monies spent and rewards surrounding the Trailblazer program. Fraud and corruption were mentioned in one of the interviews. Please explore in your followup segment.
Thank you for informing the American public and the world about the treatment of whistleblowers in the government.

peace,
