With all due respect, please to not refer to this man with a rank as he has been stripped of his rank, his Officer Commission has been revoked. It is an insult to serving members for him to be referred to as Col. :) Many thanks.

What motivates a man... to break in women's homes and steal their under-wears, bras etc, then he comes a serial killer while maintaining a straight face being a husband, friend and neighbour to others? This is no ordinary man, this is a man in the Canadian Army, a who was responsible for flying the Canadian Prime Minister, organize the security for the Queen of England and US President Obama. Sgt. Smith is a true professional. Excellent work by the Canadian Police. Col. Russell Williams is a true 'chameleon,' no one even had a clue of the terrible deeds done by this man. This case blew me out of the water. Guilty as charged.

I was browsing and clicked on the video thinking it was a brief news report. This story is riveting. Absolutely riveting.

In reference to the commercial with the woman screaming at the spider on the phone - thank you for taking it off this video. I might not have endured otherwise. When I buy a product, any commercial that has been run ad nausium will drive me away from that product without fail. Because of the audio assault of loud commercials, I often record programs and fast forward through the commercial assaults.

Should he keep getting his pension? At first I'd say no... but then I think about his wife, to whom he is likely to get ordered to pay spousal support after her divorce proceedings are finished. I am reluctant to say that he should be stripped of all methods of restitution and taking care of a woman he betrayed and embarrassed. Sure, if he earned his pension prior to his conviction, as his rank clearly demonstrates he did, he should keep it. It's not as though he will get to do much with it anyway from where he sits.
