NASA ends space era on man on moon anniversary

NASA ended an era of space exploration on the same week as the 42nd anniversary of man's first steps on the moon. CBS News' Drew Tierney dug up this archives coverage of Walter Cronkite's reports in July 1969.

Best they they could do. Now they can get new techs to create a new engine system that can take them further than the moon. I mean really. THE MOON.
Glad we got there but that's like a sailor getting to a large rock on the ocean shore. Lose the canoe and make us a real ship please.
