How can he be so stupid to believe her lies? She was the grand manipulator but they both deserved what they got. So sad for the family.

Granted, I only have the information contained in this video as evidence, and I have not done any additional reading on this case (yet), but I have two reactions.

1. The show indicated that the prosecuting attorney dropped his child custody motive bombshell in the closing argument. My understanding of legal procedure is that that would be, at best, really bad form and, at worst, a mistrial-causing stunt. I thought you had to clear all arguments toward motive during the trial, because defense has to have the opportunity to answer those accusations.

2. I do not think that Tausha is an innocent angel, but they were far from proving that she was guilty of the crimes she is supposed to have committed.

I really find it peculiar that one of the jurors said <Ok well who do we believe more? Greg or Tausha?> That does not sound like they are convinced that Tausha is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt but more like she is guilty because of who sounds more believable. I wonder if they were explained the definition of guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Also, I always have trouble believing a killer who has been given a sentence deal on the condition of saying someone else made them do it.

I do not agree with this verdict. No evidence and too much REASONABLE DOUBT!!!!!!

wow. I seriously thought I was going to read the comments and see everyone agreed with the verdict. can't believe some of you could watch that and not see what a manipulate person Tausha is. she is 100% guilty. and yes absolutely she could persuade, manipulate a man to kill another man.

if you're innocent, you don't lie like she did over and over. first she had no idea what happened, then she admitted he was killed but she had nothing to do with it, then she was there and saw the whole thing happened but had nothing to do with it, then couldn't remember where the body was, then all of a sudden she remembered. bs over and over.

and her comment, 'no one is going to even notice he's gone for a long time' stood out to me. that is exactly what she said once she saw the body dumped in the ground.

I do not know Tausha or anyone in this case but it infuriated me as much as Any racist conviction- the sad truth is if you are poor, and I hate to use the word but this girl does appear sort of stupid-! you can't get a fair trial- these police bullied her and she had the ignorance to not call an attorney??!!! of course she lied at first, no one told her what to say-honestly, I'd have lied too Tat big detective scared me watching him and of seduction is a crime-then I'm just as guilty- almost every woman I know goes from relationship to relationship and the guys themselves admit she made them feel " special" well DUH!! That's exactly what love does? or did I miss that new manual? the very sad truth is romantic " love is not how you feel about a person but how the person makes you feel about yourself!! Calling her needy, yeah- a narcissist?!! NO looks more like she was feeding a narcissist ego, people pleasing and vulnerable to every men, bc she had no self esteem!
I wish the best to her and her attorney - she was absolutely innocent and I don't think I'd " call 911 " if some guy had just blown someone away in front of me!.MY GOD HE HAD NOTHING TO LOSE BY KILLING HER AND IM SURE HE WOULD HAVE SHOT HER PHONE IN HAND!!
You People convicted her Lifestyle not on evidence-she was dating fat losers- I hope she gets out !

This is outrageous! Tausha (nor any other woman) can "make" someone commit murder!!-I hope every woman seeing this story will learn to NEVER "help" law enforcement! Dominated by MALES and most police that barely graduated high school or got a GED and then a gun! What kind of power trip! The funniest thing to me is her STALKER ex fata__ boyfriend saying ( of course coached obviously) on the stand " he didn't wish her any harm"!!!!!! THEN HE SAYS AFTER HER CONVICTION HE IS ECSTATIC!!! ( so who else lies when under oath?
The sad truth is Tausha appears ignorant and naive- she was used and manipulated and tricked by police to help them solve a murder then trashed for having relationships (serially) and how many other women are called sirens, bombshells, etc bc they hurt some insecure stupid man and he needs to BLAME SOMEONE FOR HIS aCTIONS!! PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS!!! MALE OR FEMALE. The thing that annoyed me was even if she had said the guy raped her ( which if youve ever been with a control freak and got caught cheating you may be tempted to say if it means you'll get hurt or thrown out! and NO lying isn't right but it's not a CRIME) I know lots of women who say they were date raped when it sounded like they may face consequences -so this is an excuse for the man to MURDER someone!!! COME ON. That isn't even credible as a defense! If he were really that out of control and believed it he'd not wait until the guy showed up- he would have hunted him down AND either she was cheating or raped this guy is obviously just lying to save his sorry ass!
Please people " lawyer up" and know police can lie or do anything in an interview and t happens every day

...I want to beleive her, however, she changed her story so many times. There is only one truth, and Tausha had so many. I cannot count how many times she said, "this is the truth." That line itself says "I told a lie earlier, but now I'm telling the truth!" Sounds like a boy who cried wolf too many times. Mastermind? Definatley! The first time she went in for an investagation she told a lie, which eventaully she did not want to keep. so she quickly spun another story which eventually led to her helping the police. I beleive that she knew if she helped the police, she would convince others that she was innocent since she was on the side of justice. This lady even admitted that she lured her husband to the farm knowing what was going to happen. No matter how her lawyers twist that story, her ex heard it from her mouth when she was drunk. Lady, dont even say that you will never see your daughter anymore due to this jurisdiction becasue you robbed her of a father. "Its not my fault that he is dead!" Yes, yes you are at fault. She may not have held the gun but she held her tounge. She could have called the ambulance, told the police. And oh plese, cann it with the "fear" card. If she had opened her mouth near the time of the victims death, that man would have been placed in jail and not have been able to touch her.

Finally, one of the first stories seen here where the jury actually took in all the evidence and came up with the right decision. This time justice was absolute and the victim was given justice.
The defense said the shooter came up with the story to blame her when charged, but she confirmed his story over 2 years earlier when she bragged to her second last boyfriend about it, which ended up being how it all caught up with her eventually.
Opening her big mouth and cheating on the last guy who ended up connecting with that ex is what brought her down,
If only she broke up with the guy before cheating on him......

Justice prevailed this time because the jury actually analyzed the evidence unlike so many others who go on feelings only.

If she a such a best Manipulator to make someone kill her ex husband, why she is not such a good manipulator to manipulate Mitch and take custody of her baby! She might have some moral responsibility, but tough to say she is conspirator!

1)The person who killed Mitch, has to shot six bullets? Why?If he says she told her Mitch raped her, simple question why not he made a call 911 and report, rather plan meticulously and kill the victim?

2)He was arrested before this Lady, so must have got some deal to speak against her!

3)Does investigator WARNS, anyone who is brought for investigation, that whatever they said are recorded and can be used in the court? If not they should tell the suspect/victim to avoid falsification in statement to avoid future loss of creditably if they trialed in court!

Hello Erin,

I see you keep deleting my posting every time Mitch's family and friends whine to you about my comments. What do you fear Erin? Are you concerned that her attorney SCHOTTEL, JAMES WILLIAM JR, will read my comments?

Well, let me assure you that he does read every word; I send these messages directly to his email address so that knows what the public believes.

By the way Tausha has hearing on July 11, 2012 at 9:00 AM. I hope to see you there; it will be a real pleasure to meet you in person. Perhaps you will permit me to interview you with my own camera crew? We could do this live on YouTube! Do you think that you could handle it?
