See all 103 Comments1. The show indicated that the prosecuting attorney dropped his child custody motive bombshell in the closing argument. My understanding of legal procedure is that that would be, at best, really bad form and, at worst, a mistrial-causing stunt. I thought you had to clear all arguments toward motive during the trial, because defense has to have the opportunity to answer those accusations.
2. I do not think that Tausha is an innocent angel, but they were far from proving that she was guilty of the crimes she is supposed to have committed.
Also, I always have trouble believing a killer who has been given a sentence deal on the condition of saying someone else made them do it.
I do not agree with this verdict. No evidence and too much REASONABLE DOUBT!!!!!!
if you're innocent, you don't lie like she did over and over. first she had no idea what happened, then she admitted he was killed but she had nothing to do with it, then she was there and saw the whole thing happened but had nothing to do with it, then couldn't remember where the body was, then all of a sudden she remembered. bs over and over.
and her comment, 'no one is going to even notice he's gone for a long time' stood out to me. that is exactly what she said once she saw the body dumped in the ground.
I wish the best to her and her attorney - she was absolutely innocent and I don't think I'd " call 911 " if some guy had just blown someone away in front of me!.MY GOD HE HAD NOTHING TO LOSE BY KILLING HER AND IM SURE HE WOULD HAVE SHOT HER PHONE IN HAND!!
You People convicted her Lifestyle not on evidence-she was dating fat losers- I hope she gets out !
The sad truth is Tausha appears ignorant and naive- she was used and manipulated and tricked by police to help them solve a murder then trashed for having relationships (serially) and how many other women are called sirens, bombshells, etc bc they hurt some insecure stupid man and he needs to BLAME SOMEONE FOR HIS aCTIONS!! PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS!!! MALE OR FEMALE. The thing that annoyed me was even if she had said the guy raped her ( which if youve ever been with a control freak and got caught cheating you may be tempted to say if it means you'll get hurt or thrown out! and NO lying isn't right but it's not a CRIME) I know lots of women who say they were date raped when it sounded like they may face consequences -so this is an excuse for the man to MURDER someone!!! COME ON. That isn't even credible as a defense! If he were really that out of control and believed it he'd not wait until the guy showed up- he would have hunted him down AND either she was cheating or raped this guy is obviously just lying to save his sorry ass!
Please people " lawyer up" and know police can lie or do anything in an interview and t happens every day
The defense said the shooter came up with the story to blame her when charged, but she confirmed his story over 2 years earlier when she bragged to her second last boyfriend about it, which ended up being how it all caught up with her eventually.
Opening her big mouth and cheating on the last guy who ended up connecting with that ex is what brought her down,
If only she broke up with the guy before cheating on him......
Justice prevailed this time because the jury actually analyzed the evidence unlike so many others who go on feelings only.
1)The person who killed Mitch, has to shot six bullets? Why?If he says she told her Mitch raped her, simple question why not he made a call 911 and report, rather plan meticulously and kill the victim?
2)He was arrested before this Lady, so must have got some deal to speak against her!
3)Does investigator WARNS, anyone who is brought for investigation, that whatever they said are recorded and can be used in the court? If not they should tell the suspect/victim to avoid falsification in statement to avoid future loss of creditably if they trialed in court!
I see you keep deleting my posting every time Mitch's family and friends whine to you about my comments. What do you fear Erin? Are you concerned that her attorney SCHOTTEL, JAMES WILLIAM JR, will read my comments?
Well, let me assure you that he does read every word; I send these messages directly to his email address so that knows what the public believes.
By the way Tausha has hearing on July 11, 2012 at 9:00 AM. I hope to see you there; it will be a real pleasure to meet you in person. Perhaps you will permit me to interview you with my own camera crew? We could do this live on YouTube! Do you think that you could handle it?
