Wasn't this killers's mother a psychiatric nurse, and she had no clue that her son was a psycho??

I have to say this... What these girls had suffered, I wouldn't even wish on my worst enemy, but it is so hard for me to feel bad for this Amber's mother. She comes off so arrogant and such a biotch. It makes me so sad that when Troy had asked her if she was guilty for thinking that her husband was finally not a suspect, she answers NO. If I have to feel bad for anyone other than the girls this creep murdered, it would have to be Dave. If a spouse cannot trust the other in a marriage, then you shouldn't be together at all!!

The man should remain in prison for the rest of his life. The people that were supposed to have picked him up on parole violations should have lost their jobs, and they should have been fined.

No! There should be a prison sentence for the people that do not do their jobs regarding parolees, and this should be in their contract. These people not doing their job left this man on the streets to kill those girls, so not only should the killer get time the parole officer should get time in prison too.

Poor Dave Cave, the stepfather.

Dave, I've also experienced multiple times when people who should trust you...don't. It's human nature, and it's pretty screwed up. (As a result, I don't have a lot of faith in people.)

I'm very happy that Carrie and you are back together. Someday, I hope she finally realizes in her soul that you are a very good man. (Don't expect an apology, though :-)

i hope he doesn't get killed in prison...i want him to suffer...that he will never get out to rape and kill again...that his urges can't find release...i feel so sorry for the family's that lost their daughters...why wasn't he put in prison because he broke parole??? if he had been but in prison the lovey girls wouldn't have been raped and murdered!!! may they rest in peace!!!

This POS should have done everyone a favor and killed himself before he killed the girls. Now I have to spend my hard earned money to feed him and give him medical care. I hope someone takes care of him in prison NOW.

I was in Nursing... and I know his mother, who was a psychiatric Nurse must have know how dangerous this guy was.She should have done everything in her power to try an keep him off the streets. It was just a matter of time until he killed someone, an who knows maybe he did this before these poor girls disappeared? I am taking LAW classes now, an I can say without a doubt in my mind, They need to MAKE-SURE they DO NOT ever let guys like this out of jail. Watching stuff like this makes me believe the death penalty is necessary... esp. when they say things like what the said...." I KNOW I will kill again!" That says it all...AND, I was in psychiatric nursing.Sorry to burst your bubble Faultroy, but guys like this ARE NOT MADE, they are born this way. This is a chemical imbalance in the brain an the meds he was on would help balance that out BUT, they cannot cure him. No matter what, he would have been violent, the chemicals being out of balance in the brain would tend to lead to making this guy more violent an angry then most normal people would be over the simplest things.. he wasn't made this way, HE was born this way!

Ugh I remember when they were searching for Amber. I was in my local walmart in Belleville Michigan and saw a flier posted for her. I just stopped, something about her caught my eye, and her name and face were drilled into my mind. When I saw this 48 it made my heart drop, cause I never knew what had happened to her, but I remember looking at her face and wishing I knew something and could help. So sad...
