i do not find any serious reason for Weiner to resign, and i consider the way his private exchange is being exposed quite disgusting, but he should not have used public means (government issued cellula phone ? government computer ?) to satisfy his taste for sex ting and for that he deserves a blame, verbal and must be required to repair concretely.

"Liberals run Chris Lee out of town for a shirtless photo. But when Weiner photos his own weiner, then lies about it, liberals say it's a simple ethics violation. Um, double standard??"

If I remember correctly, it was the hypocrisy of the act that made liberals mad

he also resign within the hour of it being released or something... hard run someone out if your still getting your shoes on and he's long gone.

also, you should check out Reddit's r/poltics, it's mostly liberal and they are piiiiissssseeedddd. but technically, it really only boils down to an ethics issue is why some are saying that. it doesn't go against anything he is the poster child of.

He didn't defraud the federal govt. as Rick Scott in Florida did. He didn't vote to keep health benefits from low income women as Walker did in Wisconsin. He isn't advocating succeeding from the United States as Perry did in Texas. Yes, it was sophomoric and silly but no law was broken. We need his better side in Congress and I'll continue to support him. And he's not been a big "family values" advocate doing one thing and advocating the opposite.

Pelosi should be investigated for wasting tax payer money, like the simpleton she is, when she was house speaker.
