The Coalition for Change (C4C) is a positive and wonderful organization who is fighting a good fight of faith to help those who can't help themselves -- to fight the injustice that is going on in the Federal Government. The C4C would like to meet with Mr. Obama and speak to him about how individuals who voted for him and helped put in Office in 2008 and again in 2012 are being discriminated and retaliated and fired. The C4C has a new video called Unleash No FEAR --- a brand new campaign showing just a small portion of how Responsible Management Official (RMO) are discriminating and retaliating and they are being rewarded instead of held accountable. How is that RMO are doing the wrong but the employees are being punished severely? Employees are being removed from their jobs based on lies. All we want is for someone to look into the unlawful conducts of these RMO, the MSPB and the EEOC. We are not looking for a handout or pity --what we want is for the injustice to STOP. The C4C is the brand NEW civil rights FIGHTERS! The C4C know Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would approve and be very proud at how they are handling things -- peaceful, very respectful, and in UNITY! ("in Unity is the Founder's motto) We are not crying for the president to give us anything --- this is not poor me and he should be helping us because we are Black Americans. We all had jobs and worked hard to advance in our careers, some have master's, double masters, and Ph.Ds and knowledge and experiences with exceptional job performances and evidences, will show clearly that these agencies are breaking the law in record numbers by their personal behavior (some still have their jobs but are dealing with workplace bullying, discrimination, and retaliation daily -- why should someone have to go to work and deal with that type of behavior). We are ONLY asking that someone listenin to our stories and investigate what is going on and RIGHT the WRONG! The President has always said from day one he doesn't want to do business as usual in Washington and that he wants to make a different for all Americans. Please make a difference Please understand there is an epidemic and individuals are losing their livelihood and all their life savings to pay for attorneys to fight the Federal government and are losing their cases in record numbers. Something is seriously wrong when 97% of individuals who go before the MSPB and the EEOC lose. The C4C and I thank you in advance for taking the time to listen and for considering an investigation into this serious matter.

A few weeks ago The Coalition For Change, Inc. (C4C) launched the Unleash No FEAR campaign to specifically address the concerns federal employees and private citizens (recipients of public programs and services) brought to C4C about the persistent presence of racism and retaliation in and by the federal government. Presently, we have an opportunity for Reverend Sharpton to aid our efforts by carrying our message to the President. The message -- mandatory discipline needs to be imposed on public officials who break civil rights laws.

Rev. Sharpton was instrumental in helping pass the NO FEAR Act. His activism would be most beneficial in helping to expose Responsible Management Officials (RMO). RMO sometimes referred to as the Responding Management Official in EEO cases, is the official(s) who, according to the complainant's allegations, is (are) responsible for the action or made the decision that allegedly harmed the complainant and /or participated in a decision which the complainant believes is discriminatory because of his or her race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or in reprisal for prior EEO activity.Names of Some RMOS In the Federal Sector

BROOKS, Jana. (Department of Commerce). The Office of Special Counsel (OSC) conducted an investigation which found Jana Brooks, Commerce's former Safety and Health Specialist, guilty of "mismanaging" asbestos conditions and "knowingly" exposing employees to unsafe dangerous levels of airborne asbestos. See OSC letter written to President Obama regarding Jana Brooks. http://www.scribd.com/doc/75416816/C4C-Member-Posting-OSC-Letter-to-President-Obama-Re-Asbestos-At-U-S-Department-of-Commerce. BROWNER, Carol M. (Environmental Protection Agency-EPA) (Coleman-Adebayo v Browner) In 2000, the court found Browner, former EPA administrator in the Clinton Administration guilty of racism, sexism and color discrimination against Dr. Marsha Coleman-Adebayo, an African-American MIT educated social scientist. See video "Driving Ms. Daisy Syndrome --Reference to Browner."

DUKE, David. (Air National Guard) EEOC No. 250-2004-00174X. (James vs. Roche) EEOC found Air National Guard supervisors GUILTY OF "MALICIOUS RETALIATION" and issued "Order for Injunctive Relief." The Order stated that the agency should "cease and desist all paper trails and inferences of Complainant's Security Investigative file held by David Duke ... which includes language that complainant is a "national security risk, threat to the nation and a terrorist." According to EEOC decision, Air National Guard supervisors engaged in "malicious retaliation" after an African-American female Management Analyst complained that she was targeted because of her race and filed EEO complaint. http://www.govexec.com/pdfs/james.pdf

FRED, Terry. (Department of Justice). ARRESTED FOR DUI /DRUNK DRIVING Federal Marshal Terry Fred, who has been named as Responsible Management Official in an employment discrimination complaint. was arrested February 2006 for drunken driving and leaving the scene of a crash that involved property damage. LITTLEJOHN, Craig. (Department of Interior) (Pierre vs. Salazar) FOUND GUILTY OF DISCRIMINATION. Al Sharpton was behind the Tawana Brawley Hoax, the Massacre At Freddy's Fashion Mart, chanted racial and sexual slurs at The Central Park Jogger, defended The Jenna 6, and attacked the Duke Lacrosse players. He's a fraud, a racist, a bigot, anti-white, and anti-semitic. He defamed and slandered Stephen Pagones and was found GUILTY by a NY Court of slander -- and then refused to pay the judgement, lest his 70-IQ supporters think him guilty of being a liar and a fraud. The man is a neanderthal and has no place in American politics.

The Coalition for Change Inc., (C4C), USDA Coalition of Minority Employees and other civil rights groups comprising "The Alliance for Federal Workplace Accountability", share a different view from those who prefer not to address issues with this administration. Notably C4C, a proactive non-profit organization comprised of former and present employees who have been injured or ill-treated due to workplace discrimination and/or reprisal, will continue to demand accountability from this administration.
Duly, we note that the systemic problem of race discrimination in the federal government was passed onto President Obama. Managerial retaliation and the hostile treatment of civil servants who are to uphold the public trust, has been a long-standing problem. Silence, however, is not an option. It only flames the fire of economic oppression that many in the African-American community face. Respectfully, C4C shares a different opinion from Reverend Sharpton, who previously marched with federal workers when President Bush was "Head of the Executive Branch." I sat on the "freedom bus" with Rev. Sharpton and alongside other activists when President Bush was in office. I (T. Ward Jordan) participated in this civil rights movement with Rev. Sharpton to prompt President Bush into signing the Notification and Federal Employee Anti-discrimination and Retaliation Act of 2002. I share this information only to assert - that we must continue to expose issues that negatively impact the federal government's ability to provide for fair, safe, timely and quality public programs or services. For this reason, I encourage Rev. Al Sharpton, Ben Jealous and others to view The Coalition For Change, Inc. (C4C) video entitled: Racism In The Federal Government (A-Z). It is located at http://www.coalition4change.org/index. Perhaps after viewing the video, our long established civil rights leaders will consider the rationale for continuing to address matters that directly fall under the purview of this administration.

It is most unfortunate the white media try and select who is and who is not representing the black community as our spokepersons. I find it insulting to single out President Obama, Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, Colin Powell and others as our only black leaders. Most blacks identify with many black leaders but also have difference of opinions with them as well. Therefore, we do not see any single person represting our diverse viewpoints. While the emphasis is upon Obama and Sharpton as our black leaders, tell me who has the white press selected as the white community leaders???? Give me a break because there are none and history will reveal the white community do not view their leaders in the same light.

Leslie Stahl is a horrible interviewer, or maybe she's just so biased in this interview she's willing to compromise any journalistic integrity. How can you accuse someone of spreading hate and provide no evidence of it. She's disgusting. Rev al has NEVER spread hate! It's the same old, tired charge made against any activist of color who dares to REALLY advocate for the poor and people of color. I have heard Rev Sharpton apologize when he feels he's wrong he kow tows to no one including other Blacks, so with regards to Tawana Brawley, he's not apologizing because he's STILL not convinced the ruling was just and with the history of police brutality with the NYC police department and other police departments in this country, it's perfectly understandable how he can STILL have doubt. I know I do.

Congratulations for the guts, L.S., to challenge an angry, arrogant, racial bully. As one comment above noted he would see racism in a bowl of oatmeal. One of the best interviews on 60 minutes, since Mike Wallace would challenge his guests--cutting to the chase.

Rather incredible the president would turn to a man similiar to his former Chicago pastor,Rev. Wright, to reach out and speak for and to the the black community.

Sharpton is not in the same league as MLK and has gall to try and stand in his shadow. If every kid who had a father walk away displayed Sharpton's over the top anger-- we would all be toothless and missing an eye.

Shakedown artist(small time Bernie Madoff) probably more appropriate than civil rights leader. He has even shook down the president. I can hear his plea for funds for his organization--help the Rev.to wear slick, expensive tailored suits, have hair conked, and hang out at the Havana Club.

Amazing he never served time for his tax evasion like other criminals have. Believe me his appearance in Arizona on immmigration was not a plus for fair immigration laws.

In many ways he reminds me of Newt G.-- brash, bombastic, loud, arrogant, inflated sense of self, always self-serving to this day--willing to say or do anything to get their name in the media.

Being Sharpton like Newt is never having to admit fault or apologize.
Kudos to L.S. for confronting a (now well to do) racist bully.
