Thank you Lesley for that great piece on Gospel for Teens. I am a 67 year oldd male and I welled up and had to dry my eyes because it touched me greatly. I called my friends to alert them that this was an exceptional story. Much of it I could relate to both as a single father who tried his best to rear my kids correctly. Inspiring as it was my hat is off to Vi Higginson and to 60 minutes. Again thank you .

I was touched by this story. My daughter sings and is taking music education at Lincoln University and it warms my heart and saddens me at the same time that some of these beautiful young women and men don't have a personal cheering section...well I am here to tell everyone of you...YOU are doing an excellent job and I take my hat off to this woman who opened her heart and talent to these young people. We need more women like her.

This was a great story, within a story, within a story. Vy's Gospel program is self-esteem building, history, empowerment, singing, gospel, passion, caring, and more, all wrapped in one program. The hereo here is Vy, who represents a person of caring needed in every community. What an amazing program, leader, and group of kids. Thank you Vy with love. You've done it again 60 Minutes - Lesley Stahl
