Ferraro discusses battling multiple myeloma in 2007

In an interview in 2007 on The Early Show, Geraldine Ferraro discussed battling multiple myeloma, which she passed away from Saturday after a 12 year battle. In the interview Ferraro also praised the strength and courage of Elizabeth Edwards, who also passed away from cancer last December.

So sad to hear of Ferraro's long struggle with cancer. Cancer is a terrible disease that causes so much pain and so much heartache. Most of us know someone who has cancer or who has passed away from cancer. It is a major killer in this world.
