Too bad tall b-updike and little minute man did not committ this crime in Texas because then he would have gotten the death penalty, which I believe he deserves, b-updike deserves life without the possibility of parole for conspiracy.

As for the self-defense claim, ok pretty simple, you don't go to the victim's home, shoot them and their gaurd dog, drive aimslessly around with their body, visit your ex-wife, and then hide their body, and just to add injury to hurt not disclose the final location of their body. All that says to me is that it was premeditated murder and definitely so far from self-defense any one would have to be completely arrogant and narcisstic to claim otherwise.

It never fells to amaze me that people that committ murder always seems to think that somehow, once done, that it was justified.

I believe there is a special place in Hell for people that do things like this. You can hide any kind of wrong doing to the authorities, well really to any one walking the earth, however, you cannot hide from God, and He will judge you upon your death and with that judgement there is no escape.

In the meantime though, while little minute man is still here and in prison, which is kinda like a "hell on earth" place, hope he gets housed in general population where there is a good chance where "what comes around, goes around."

I don't think they should be considered guilty. That is a self defense case. Those crazy man, old boyfriend, old husband etc... could become real monsters.

We should rewind back about the position and the job of Michael Oakes (this is something ticks me off if I agree that he is the murder). If Michael Oakes is much of a security expert like that (and if he is actually meant for murder) how on earth would he became that dumb? Looking for another way of killing Mark over here, long distance shooting would take down Mark well enough without any direct shooting, no need for hand-to-hand combat. Talking about the anonymous drug call, I think the voice is part of the identification and the other is the rhythm of talking (I am no expert, but its not Michael though to my ears). Talking about that is Michael's role of being a father, Michael's mentally in being a father and if true, Mark's threatening in order to get wedding photos. You do know that kind of father would heavily protects his children, right? And having to hear Mark describing what your children wore when coming to school can deadly frighten a father, therefore if Michael actually kills him on purpose what Michael would think himself (and maybe also if only by self-defence) is "you have threaten to harm my children, therefore you are a deadly threat." Since of this mumbo jumbo, I cant take a side in what is right and what is wrong, but so far a father of 4 and an xhusband of 2 is in a jail, a family of a deceased seems to be "temporary" satisfied and another family was torn apart. Seems pretty much to me these related seems so easily influenced by their feelings, but no harsh on them.

One thing about it, the kids do not like their mother, because they are not living with her. I think Linda volunteered to take care of the girls, because this way he will not implement her in the murder anytime soon.

If the wedding pictures were needed to protect the children, than Linda would have given the man the pictures, if she was supposed to have loved him and the children.

I do not believe there was a treat placed on anyone's life, due to some wedding pictures.

I believe Linda wanted her ex-husband dead. Linda found a weak man to do her dirty work. Linda knew what she was doing, and she still know what she is doing, which is why she has his children. This man loves his children.

Michael should realize that Linda is a manipulator, and he should not have his kids living with Linda. Oh! I forgot, Michael thinks Linda truly loved him, which is why he did her dirty work. Maybe in prison someone can tell him something to wake his stupid ass up.

Michael did not deserve sympathy from the judge for a lighter sentence, because he planned the murder.

Michael did not stay his ass at home, because he knew he would lose Linda, if he did not kill Mark.

It's way too much killing in this world.

Get those girls the HECK away from that women! She's just worried one of them will figure out the truth of what happened and trying to cover her involvement playing her usual sympathy card ~ DESPICABLE!

If someone threaten my kids and tells me what they're wearing... I will kill them right then and there... no questions asked... and you can lock me up and throw away the key... I don't freaking care!

A woman manipulates a small "white knight" into doing her dirty work!? That's preposterous! Except that it happens all the time, people trying to defend her by saying they preemptively killed him for being a threat and all that...give me a break, an ex husband with some trash in his car and not getting along with his ex wife sure sounds like someone who needs to be murdered to me. This case is pretty straight forward when you get right down to it, a narcissist with a sense of entitlement manipulated a do gooder into "protecting" her so she wouldn't have to get her hands dirty herself. As for motive? Really people can't figure that out? "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned," A rich, self absorbed woman scorned..you can cut that bitterness with a knife when you meet one.
