See all 19 CommentsIn any case, I'm not sure how the Attorney-Client privelege applies to this particular situation. The attorney could have, in my opinion, legally divulged to the detective what his deceased client, Deril, had said because what he said ultimately implicated Ann and not his client. The attorney has no attorney-client relationship with Ann. And, EVEN if it did implicate his client, Deril... Deril killed himself. He can't do any time in jail even if he was somehow connected to the murder.
How could a person let someone that ONLY he can reveal is GUILTY and yet do NOTHING? No moral obligation to protect society from villains? I'll tell you how... Two words: Selfish Greed. Why should the attorney break his silence? It wasn't his brother or father or son who was murdered. And, afterall, it doesn't help his reputation one bit as far as getting hired in the future by other GUILTY villains.
Ever watch a FEMALE mantis consume her partner after copulation.
Always remember the FEMALE musquito is only one that sucks blood.
