See all 49 CommentsIn the sixties, I, a mere man, washed by hand all our children's cloth diapers [we call them nappies in the UK, they are made out of soft white towelling], soaked them in a bucket of disinfectant and rinsed them. There were no 'disposable' ones then, but now you're reinventiopn of the 'cloth diaper' is a tailored, carbon heavy 'product' for someone to make lots of profit out of. Ugh, can't even look at faeces huh? Can't touch, get rid of it quickly into the machine.
The majority of the rest of the world still uses cloth diapers/nappies, only in America does the idea that wrapping a baby's bottom in a cloth appear to be so difficult for 'new moms' to both master and cope with. Utterly pathetic.
