Charlene Hill's second trial ended with her getting probation. "Hill must serve 10 years on probation, a $10,000 fine and must talk to groups about domestic violence, although she may not tell those groups she acted in self-defense." http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/local&id=8034887

The children would have been more believable that is was all about their love for their father if not for stealing the money. I think they conveniently had memory lapses and re-wrote history to feel okay if their mother did go to prison and oh, by the way, end up with all the money.

Many of you blame the children. I can not understand why. Their mother shot their father, and ALL OF THEM blame the mother, one even killed himself because of that. How come not a single one of the kids, not even his first son, loved the woman enough even to doubt that it was a cold blooded murder? How can you blame the children of being greedy if it was not them but their mother who committed something that filled her pockets with money? Those late middle aged gold diggers look very much alike. This is a classic case to my view. I don't believe her botox lips and tearless crying.

This kid is an obvious liar. The guy got what he had coming and long overdue. The kids are white trash...what horrible things money does to people. I did not know them but the kids around us went to high school with them and had not nice things to say about the kids. Feel very sorry for this lady. This guy just look like a monster.

I believe that this woman was a battered wife, but I can't feel much sympathy for her. She took her children and left her abusive husband once. But she chose to go back with him and expose her children to domestic violence. When she chose to go back to an abusive man, she taught her children that it is ok for a man to beat his wife. For that reason, I'm not surprised that they testified against their mother in court.

This woman is absolutely innocent, Jeremy and Jamie are a couple of money hungry selfish brats and probably put the younger boy in a place that he was not comfortable with. I truly hope this woman will be found not guilty. I will pray for her.

Can't believer her children are such pieces of ****.. wish their demon psycho father would of beat them to death. I feel horrible for the mother. I'd see to it they never got one penny of my money and their sorry low life ***** could ***** die out on the street..where they belong, at least until they can fry in hell.
My heart goes out to the mother, she was only defending herself. Just looking at that man he looks like a ***** creepy snake.
