American Farmers Combat Opium in Afghanistan

When the U.S. started to send thousands more troops to Afghanistan in the war against the Taliban, another lesser known goal was being addressed. American farmers are trying to entice their Afghan counterparts to give up growing poppy for the opium that finances insurgents. Terry McCarthy reports.
