I'm sorry for the family and can't even fathom what they went through, but that Mom really is hard to have any feelings for. The way she raged after everyone around her and having no remorse for what she also put everyone through who were also feeling hurt and pain. She is selfish beyond even what she deserves.
She seems to enjoy the media attention she's gained and is using it to the max.
Looking and listening to the pedophile Gartner makes me want to go out hunting for people like him.
He says he regrets it, but only regrets getting caught.

The is a story that will stay with me for a long time. This man was evil incarnate and you saw a glimpse of it at the end in the courtroom. While it pains me to think about the unimaginable terror both of these girls must have experienced, I am fully confident that they are now with the Lord. At the same time, I have no answer as to why such horrible things happen; I have no answer as to why someone would choose to do things to a child that they would not consider doing to a wild animal.

This man was a known sexual predator and should not have been on the streets. The justice system failed the girls and their families.

I cannot believe that she did that to that man. You do not accuse a man of the murder of his daughter, while he's grieving like that, and you have absolutely zero evidence he did anything wrong. That is something you just do not do. And she feels no guilt. WOW. this is the least sympathy I have ever felt for someone who went through something like that. ..... Really creeped me out when she felt "closure" after the terrible things she heard too!!

did you see the look in his eyes when the girl who survived his attack asked 'how is your nose?' the evilness and hatred he he had inside himself over the fact he says she didnt hit him not the fact that he murdered two beautiful girls but his male pride that a girl hit him and got away. its strange as he holds his hands up and says he needs to be locked up forever or he will kill again you dnt hear that very often. i truly feel for the familys whos daughters he stole from them they must of went and still be going through hell. and for ambers stepfather i feel for him too to be portrayed as a killer that must do some serious damage to your self esteem. i hope they can get through couples counceling and get over this i can honestly understand why ambers mother would question herself on wether he did it when the police home in on someone like that if that other girl hadnt of gone missing ambers stepfather i believe would of been arrested for her disapearnce sometimes police will prosecute just for a result it has happened before and will happen again. i am quite discusted at the killers family, i have a son and god forbid if he did anythign like this i would have to say how sorry i was to thier faces instead she hid and ran i know it must be awful for her but hey shes still got her son alive all she had to do was take even a minute of her time and say she was sorry and the sister seemed like she has anger problems too the way she spoke to the media leave us alone well what about the girls familys who your brother/son destroyed dnt they deserve something they couldnt be left alone they had to search night and day for thier daughters. he is where he belongs and he is probably right that someone will end his life i hope he wasnt saying all that to try and make nayone have sympathy for him as i dnt have an ounce of sympathy for him yes he obv has mental health issues but thats no excuse. rip to amber and the other beautiful girl he wripped away from this world.

I will pray for him to find a GOD through Jesus Our Lord and Saviour than he will change and have remorse before he dies.

The sound is way too low compared to the commercials, worse on some videos than others. You can turn up the volume control, but then the commercials are very loud. Too bad, other than that, this is a great website for "48 Hours" junkies like myself.

Can barely hear the program, but commercials blow out my speakers. Boo! Also, Chase advertisement perpetually hangs in the upper left corner of the screen, and won't go away until the next commercial segment. Very annoying. It seems like the site caters to the advertisers more so than the viewers, which seems like a poor plan for gaining viewers; so I am unsure that I will go through any trouble to return to the site, given the obstruction of the screen image and horrible sound qualities.
