I am very sadden to see that 60 minutes spent time doing a piece with a show that stereotypes and makes very insulting, non funny, ignorant comments. I don't mind racist jokes but this weren't funny just ignorant dumb and completely sensationalist jokes. Sad to see that my most trustworthy and respected news sources did a piece on that show. The comment came after the piece but I wish you guys could take it back.

In case you didn't know Top Gear made racist jokes about Mexicans saying they are Lazy, flatulent and something inaudible that people laughed at. And one of the guys said "just imagine waking up and realize your Mexican". I didn't find that funny. And got insulted because it is very hard for some Mexicans to wake up every morning in the United States and in Mexico, with the struggles against the war on drugs in Mexico, and trying to make a living in the United States and Mexico.

Too bad you guys wasted time on people who are so un intelligent

TOP GEAR,LOVE IT ! Watched "Fifth Gear" years ago.Enjoyed the heck out of "Needles" on that show, even the reruns of that would beat the crap out of 90+% of what passes for entertainment today here in the "colonys" ! Keep that super Brit humor and wit coming. I've watched "OUR" new American version of T.G. and boys I'm sad to say,it just ain't gonna' cut it! Last night's episode didn't do justice for any selfrespectin' Southern moonshiner.Jezzar,Hamster, and last but not leastCapt.Slow, you guys make it happen.Keep up the great job !~! Sir BW of MAC

Truly THE Best TV show on air, The US version will absolutely bomb. It will be so polished and scripted that they will ruin the Top Gear brand name in the US. Noone can come close to Jeremy, Richard and James.

I got hooked on Top Gear while working in the UK a few years ago. It is one of the few shows I will always watch! US TV has so few shows that are even mildly interesting, "reality tv", "drama" calculated to offend no one. Top Gear doesn't try and be anything but what it is, juvenile pranks and irreverent social commentary built loosely around the subject of cars. It's a great way to unwind after a long stressful day and I wouldn't miss it for the world!
