Why does CBS consider Clint Eastwood's opinion as news? Clint Eastwood is an actor. Why do we look to celebrities for guidance? Are their opinions somehow more valuable than those of other people?

In 20 years the United States will no longer exist as we know it. If Obama is re-elected, that will happen in 10 years.

The Republicans do not need a candidate for the 2012 Presidential Election because they already have their man installed in office.

His name is Barrack Obama.

I am confident that the Corporations who own the Republican Party care very little if any individual current Republican candidate wins the Republican nomination looses or even runs in 2012.

Clint is far too kind. Obama betrayed our trust. He's just another bought-out stooge for the bankers. He's done the same bailouts, except more of them, than his predecessor. He's run up more debt. He's engaged in more and wider wars. He has sent hither swarms of officers to harass our People and eat out their Substance.

Let me see: You buy a car that someone else has owned for 8 years and that owner ran the car into the ground and it is now in bad shape but you buy it anyway and then you spend spend spend to make the car look good but you do absolutely nothing to make the car RUN better so once you find out that your spending has not made the car run very well, you blame the previous owner......MMMMMM ...that sounds about right for how this president works!!!

Maybe Eastwood should run for The Presidency. If he thinks he can govern surely the public will back him?

Small businesses cannot be this country's savior. The manufacturing we lost needs to come back in large scale and that will not happen until the US is made friendly to corporations.

Obama's ways are not a long-term solution. Legislation passed thus-far in his administration will actually keep the US on its economic decline and continue the entitlement mentality in individuals that seems to be spreading.

Obama is disaster...4 more years and this country will totally go down the tubes. Dubya was a hand puppet. Clinton was no prince...Nafta?...come-on...that shmuck sold this country out too. George Senior...well, what happens when you put the former head of the CIA in the Oval Office...you get B.s. like Building #7 WTC, Missles taking out the wing of the Pentagon where the accts, were busy trying to find the 3 trillion $s that Rumsfeld was ordered by Congress to account for. Reagan?...oh, come on...Read about his years as Gov. in Calif and Peoples Park in Berkeley to which he lauded the Police for shooting into a crowd, killing one and wounding hundreds. Carter?...another Idiot that shouldn't have been given the office...Social security was entirely funded before he took the seat. He gave it away to every dingleberry right off the boat from Fongoulastan. Ford, yeah, that genius...head of the Commission to find out who killed J.F.K. ...uh huh...they put their 'brightest bulb in charge of that.'
It time to get wise folks...draft Bernie Sanders to run for President in 2012. He's the Independent Senator from Vermont. Ya' all have a nice day...Love ya Clint...Peace out man.

Wow it took me forever to finally figure out how to leave a comment. It kept telling me to confirm my account even after I had confirmed it.

NiceTomly - You need to read more. While I am not a fan of Bush, the majority believe it was the laws passed under Clinton that pushed for home ownership. Unfortunately, a large number of people who were not financially qualified were given Fanny and Freddy loans. Unfortunately, after a number of loans were defaulted on it eventually reached a tipping point. That is the source for the current recession. The duration of the recession is on Obama and the Democrats however. They are pushing for more interference in business with more regulation and inspections. I recently worked with a firm that went through an AA/EEO audit. It really came at an inoportune time as it distracted the company from other matters. Also, Obamacare, while well-meaning has created an environment where companies are uncertain about how much it will cost to hire. Until they sort it out, they are being financially conservative.
