What an amazing pack of Hypocritical AAA?Wholes a lot of Americans have become! Those screaming the loudest about being Americans are the ones trying to stop what America claims to be all about, Freedom. It reminds me of the Anti-Gay Christian preachers screaming about the sins and abominations of homosexuals all the while breaking out the K-Y with Bob (Very Typical of Zealots by the way). Kind of like the KKK being a Christian organization, then again it was founded by some of the so called Christian American fore fathers, you know Hypocrites. All men are created equal and entitled to their inalienable rights unless they were black or indigenous people etc. Thanks Scott, Great Show

Islams flag,(the crescent )means "Turkish or Muslim Power".
The Ottoman Turkish Empire, "was named for Osman I, A MUSLIM prince"; "Ottoman troops invaded Europe in 1345". ["Under Selim I, the Ottoman Empire became the largest in the world". ("after the Balkin Wars"...."the Treaties following WWI dissolved the empire". {Websters Dict. & Desk Encyc}....***They are NOW taking Europe back, by insinuating Islam and Sharia into the European Union.***

I am a Muslim woman who is absolutely infuriated by your comment. This article not only gives the wrong image about Muslim women and Muslim families, but also neglects to compare the atrocities of the western world (murders, drug/sex crimes, child molestations...) to the murders/abuses mentioned about the Muslim world. Coming from that culture, I'd like to clarify that the type of behavior described above is not practiced on a DAILY basis or a REGULAR basis on women in NORMAL muslim families. That type of behavior is practiced among ignorant uncivilized and extremist people, regardless of what their religion is. Domestic abuse is acknowledged by our law just like it is in the western world. Crimes and murders are brought to justice just like everywehere in the world. I would recommend that you broaden your research next time instead of using a sample of cases...

All you people,who think Islam is a peaceful religion, google: atlas shrugs honor killings and click on the selection with Islam's Gruesome Gallery. There you will see how they treat their women if they misstep. Be sure to go all the way to the end if you have the guts.(and many of these are women living in western countries) In the Koran it says that women are to be beaten by their husbands regularly and to be under the man's foot. That is why Muslims want they women covered from head to foot: Then no one can see their bruises and contusions and give them sympathy. namaste

Try sticking your nose in the Koran, especially the later verses which have not undergone abrogation. Maybe you won't be so "lightened up" that you are air-headed

Hey,60 Minutes, how come you can't put quotes in your comment to set aside various words? They come out as "? marks" which looks very confusing.Please do something about this.
