all the people calling this woman a 'weirdo' Just DONT get it do you?? -- she is perfectly aware how bad he was - she says herself how lucky she was to 'still be alive' -- what she is giving in this interview is a look at how he was able to con the women/girls he killed into trusting him. he had Her convinced even thru the first trial that the man she thought she knew could not have possibly done those things.. her comments about the phone call from him shows the Depth of his ability to con - for those moments on the phone she was mentally transported back to the days when she was mesmerized by him - even while KNOWING the truth - she is admitting how easy it was to fall under his spell. perhaps this info can help the investigators even furth..

The woman smiles and laughs through the interview like nothing happened , what about the children and women he slaughtered for his own gratification , she needs to be housed in the same cell as him and see if he still thinks the same,she doesnt realize he was using her for his own purposes , she gives all women a bad name by her attitude.

Ther is something seriously wrong with this lady! She is totally out of touchwith reality! Smiling happy, gleeful, in talking about this MONSTER! She acted like she totally felt SPECIAL because he didn't kill her?! SICK! SICK! SICK! She is totally whacked in the head!The reality of him being a child-killer, rapist & murderer like totally went OVER this DITZY BROADS HEAD! something is defintitely not right in her thinking.... I think she might have felt special because this MONSTER asked her to marry him?!! I wonder how many men have asked her to marry them, an how many dates she had been on since parting with this SADISTIC KILLER of Women & children! obviously she is missing the Cheese in her sandwich!!

It's true that this interview is strange in the sense that this woman seemed to gleeful at the happy memories of being the object of affection/girlfriend of someone who later was proven to be a most heinous serial killer - she doesn't express memories of shock or repulsion of the crimes of her (former) boyfriend, or questioning his compartmentalized damaged personality; she is simply smiling that she evaded his murders. She doesn't express disgust at this murderer's smooth talking and manipulation when he recently contacted her and talked to her on the phone - instead, it was wonderful and like 30+ years ago or whatever. She didn't confront him with questions about his murderers and why he did it. She didn't say, Rodney, the right thing to do is to admit to your crimes and say you're sorry. This man committed horrible crimes to young children and women, and caused a lifetime of immeasurable pain for the victims' families - including his cowardly inability to be accountable and confess to what he did. Lady, get a clue! Strange.

His personality was multiple. She knew only the part of him that he presented to her. He was NOT the other.

Wonder if we'll every know what happened to him in his early years to create such a monstrosity.
Ted Bundy said he had a "normal and happy childhood." That was a lie.

The guy is obviously a sociopath. Unfortunately they don't wear signs on their foreheads. Would you go with some guy who seemed to be weird? Or do you hold out for good looks and charm? Obviously he was good looking and charming, and equally obviously she did come to realize he did what he was accused of. She may be mature enough to be able to laugh at herself; she is smart enough to feel lucky. What exactly were you expecting?

I'm watching this in horror! How can this crazy woman talk about this monster with glee and and excitement in her voice, and a smile on her face...seemingly proud of the fact that she was his girlfriend. Adding how "great" Rodney treated her. Does she have no sympathy for the victim's or their families?! Lunatic. She says she has no regrets...how about regretting the fact that she was duped by this creep and/or so self-absorbed as to not see that something was wrong with him. I agree with embraces2211, something is "wrong" with her inner-workings. Get help, lady.

This woman is scary. She has no reaction to this man killing a child and other woman and little girls? There is something wrong with her innerworkings. Personally I would wonder what she is doing behind close doors.
