I am so sadden to read about Harold Dow's death. I lost my mother on August 13th 2010. I pray for his family. He was a wonderful reporter with a natural ability to convey to the views the compassion and heartful thoughts as we watched him interview the people that seemed so amazing. I have watched Harold for many many years and I just knew when he was doing a report the most important information was given and he always asked the tough questions that we as veiws would want to know. You could tell this was just a wonderful job that he loved! He will be so missed. Cheryl

Harold was a great reporter, but an even better father to his children, husband to his wonderful wife, and friend to all who knew him. He will be missed and always remembered.

I am so saddened by the loss of Mr Dow, he was a great corresponder for 48 Hours, which I am a faithful viewer of for many years. My heartfelt prayers go out to his family and friends. I know the heartache of losing someone very dear, because I just lost my mother last month, my best friend, as well as losing a daughter 22 yrs ago. I promise the pain will ease and he will always be in your heart.
