The Chinese are buying up secrets for pennies, and buying up US debt by the billions. If I were sitting in the jumpseat in the cockpit of a jumbo jet, and saw it was flying toward a mountain, I would sit for a little while...and then I would say "LOOK, we're heading toward a mountain," hoping to wake up the pilots. We are heading toward a BIG mountain here, and nobody seems to be shouting a warning. WHY???

Boycott Chinese products whenever an alternative is available. Kick their students out of our universities. Deploy at least 4 US naval aircraft carriers to China's shores. Place high tarrifs on its goods to make up for the artifically low value of the Yuan. Use the money raised from the tarrifs to rebuild our industrial base.

Resistance to China must begin now. We cannot spare any effort. If we are lazy, will one day get the same treatment as Tibet and Xinjiang. We will be slaves of the their Empire. May the world unite to thwart the "Peaceful Rise" of China.

Probably the problem is we spend too much money on intelligence. My understanding is we have 800k to 1 million intelligence agents and workers in the country. It would take 2 million counterintelligence workers to oversee all that and that my friend would be just crazy.

In my opinion, the U.S. has been asleep at the wheel for several years now. When Bush was running around speaking 'bushisms' and playing the fool, the Chinese were slinking around the world buying up whatever natural resources they could get their hands on ( with our money,by the way) , especially hydrocarbon products...for the future. They could see the writing on the wall...uncontrolled global population growth, third world countries wanting their share of the wealth...selling their natural resources to get it. Who ever has sufficient resources to sustain a growing economy, feed its workers, provide jobs and military security...has a winner. China is the oldest functioning society in the world, they've learned well through the ages, and know what resources it will take to be successful in the future. As long as they can STEAL whatever technology they need to stay abreast of, if not on top, they will be satisfied that their society and its future security will be sustained...to hell with honesty, integrety and all the 'wonderful' things that make up a Democracy...they take what they need, always have and always will.

This reminds me of the song, Don't want to be an American Idiot." What idiots. The white American has a great paying job. He could have bought all of the crap that was given to him. Two thousand dollars? He received two thousand cash? He did it for 2g's a pop? Instead of American Idiot, how about Village Idiot? He probably clears 2g's a day! Chinese are stealing our technology? Woe, and all this time I thought he Japanese and Chinese were the leaders. This whole spy thing has gotten way out of control.
The asian is getting out of jail early because damage to national security is limited? what a crock of crap! Why arrest him in the first place? Why was the white American aloud to take this info home? In a job like that, cell phones and other electronic devices should not be aloud on the premises.
