I believe Mechele was the mastermind and John Carlin who was murdered in prison, killed Kent Leppink.

Mechele is very lucky to have such a trusting husband as Colin. I wonder if she is retried and put in prison will he still be faithful to her, after all he is a young man.

Something tells me she will walk; she has that aura about her.

Lora Aspiotis was so loaded on the stand she could barely sit up and be coherent. Then she spent the next two days in Anchorage getting drunk with reporters. There was nothing in her diary about Ms. Linehan watching the movie with her or liking the movie. She made the story up, perjured herself with no consequences from the court, for a free trip to Alaska and attention. She also admitted on the stand that the real reason her friendship ended with Ms. Linehan wasn't because she ended the friendship but because Ms. Linehan did. Ms. Linehan was more conservative than Lora Aspiotis and was angry that Aspiotis took porn over to her house and watched it after Ms. Linehan had told her she didn't want it in the house. There was a teenage boy living there and she said that Aspiotis had made John Carlin uncomfortable by watching it at his house. She couldn't trust Aspiotis.

P.S. to my previous comment. Where on earth were all of Mechelle's relatives. I don't recall she had any family supporters in the courtroom or that spoke for her in any way. Mother, father, brothers, sisters???? Hmmm, maybe estranged from them for reasons not delved into????

Here's the thing....Mechelle obviously said something to Ken Lippink that was very disturbing, enough for him to fear for his life, as he quickly changed the beneficiary on that 1,000,000.00 life insurance policy and which prompted him to 'solve his own murder' with that letter to his parents. Case closed. As the prosecutor said, even if she didn't pull the trigger ( which I really believe she did) she is as guilty because she without a doubt did orchestrate and set this whole thing into action and it's final outcome. I can't believe she is out awaiting a new trial.

This woman is a sociopath! I feel sorry for her husband, he's so fooled by her it's ridiculous. I hope they try her again and convict her for life.
