Extra: A Solemn Farewell

Air Force 1st Lt. Roslyn Schulte and Army reservist Shawn Pine, both killed by the same roadside bomb in Afghanistan are saluted by hundreds of service members as their bodies are transported to the plane that will bring them home to the United States. Our thanks to the Schulte family for providing "60 Minutes" this footage.

Dear Barbara, Steve, and Justin,

While I did not know Shawn I have heard many stories of his work and his generousity to those in need. Roslyn respected him and committed to the mission in Afghanistan. She was wonderful and I miss her greatly.

Dear Schulte family, Thanks so much for the funeral footage of your daughter and my cousin, Shawn Pine.It was so good to see his face one more time.We're so sorry for the loss of your daughter who was just starting her life.We have one son, Justin who is 21 and in college. Your daughter was only a few years older than him. You'll be included in our prayers. God Bless you.
