The only thing we have to fear is fear it self. The only thing I know my God Jesus will strike down this wacked religon once americans return back and put our trust in the Lord Almighty. The Christions in this country should be just as devout to thier Lord, willing to die for thier relgion.

Just analyse the FACTS. Obama is either unwilling or unable to sort Pakistan. The election of Obama is going to doom US sooner rather than later. Pakistan is not interested in resolving the terrorists because it is their only export and revenue earning product. Unless US is serious or India takes it upon themselves to sort these barbarians out, this is bound to continue. Would you give up your source of income? why should Pakistan?? think about it.

I watched with interest your segmant of "Homegrown Terror" and found it to be extrmely useful information that we in this country need to have increasing awareness of how simple it can be to hurt us on American soil.
However, contrary to legacy 6684, where I live there is a possibility that some furture terrorists will really be homegrown, or perhaps some already have been! Babies are born in a nearby hospital's maternity ward of Yemenite women. What is becoming extremely noticeable and odd? is that when several of them were asked to schedule the baby's first wellness appointment and are given pediatrician names to choose from, The common reply has been something like, "No need they will be going home to be raised in Yemen." American born citizens raised in an Islamic country. So, file this somewhere and in 20 years see how many might return as terrorists to the USA? Is that homegrown enough to think about? How many homegrowns might be there now getting educated? I never paid attention info like that until 9/11
Personally I think they plan well into the future, better than we give them credit for!

Maybe we should come up with a new form of punishment for those convicted of acts of terrorism if they're of the Muslim faith. They penalty would be drowning them in pig fat. A fitting punishment, I think

@ Naturalv: Terrorists are not demanding the truth unlike people who protest for a cause.you sound reasonable but i dont know where you get the notion that terror groups demand the truth. Everythink i've learned as a Prosecuter,Detective,Counter terrorism in a country thousand miles away has made me realize that terror groups ideology is there way or no way(not even HWY).this is way before United States knew that Ikhwaanu Muslimiin and it's existence.this group assasinated a middle eastern leader(A muslim leader)why?cause he was days away bringing Arab nations and Israel to sign a truce in Alexandria.this group will ebd up being the military wing of alqaida.i know there are some bad policies conducted by the United States abroad, but America dosen't go around bombing kindergarten, nursing homes or mosques.how do you demand the truth when you strap a bomb in your body and blow yourself in a school bus?EVIL=YES TRUTH DEMAND= NOT A CHANCE.

The reason terrorists exist and continue to be able to recruit is because of the lack of honesty in our world. Our government has been incredibly dishonest with the American people and the world in many things it has done, wars it has started, conflicts it has created, drug activity it has been involved with and even acts against the American people. Even out financial system was wrecked and set into chaos because of a lack of openness and honesty. Our environment is on a perilous threshold of disaster because we will not be honest with ourselves about what we have done and continue to do. And yes, other governments and countries have done the same.
But that does not make any of the acts right or justified. Until we simply begin to truly value, respect and demand honesty from ourselves, with others and about others, we will continue to create terrorists of some kind.
And it really is that simple. The world?s apathy about the truth of things allows terrorists to organize. Whether it is gangs or foreign terrorists or military or protestors, they will continue to emerge and recruit until, above all else, truth and honesty is paramount in our way of life. Terrorists or protestors or revolutionaries are simply demanding the truth.
It is ours to change. If we can become honest, even begin with being honest with ourselves, we can change our world?simply and peacefully.

Homegrown Terror - 60 Minutes should do a more comprehensive story on this topic by covering all of the individuals and groups that operate in the US and promote violence toward groups/individuals with whom they don't agree. People like T. McVeigh and E. Rudolph and the man who killed the doctor in church because he performed abortions (a legal act) -- all are encouraged to use violence against the government and citizens. How about a story that features the White Homegrown Terrorists in our country. The Southern Poverty Law Center can assist with the data/facts on this situation - e.g., the armed camps in Idaho and Michigan and how these individuals progressed to their idealogy. While the threat from Middle East is real the threat from others is just as real and is likely being fed by the rhetoric and lies of the Tea Party & certain radio/TV "talk show" personalities. 60 Minutes should focus on the full range of homegrown terrorists. A little balance is needed while educating your viewers to the full danger in our society.

Many times I have blogged about the cyber jihadist threat using accurate and true religious rebuttals in some cases to refute their twisted views on Islam; discussed their cyber tools while challenging their perverted platform. Your segment seems quite familiar.
