A population that is falling through the cracks in this financial housing crisis are those home owners who ARE paying their mortgage each month, even though they do not have 20% above what the home is worth. Without this 20% it's impossible to obtain a refinance to decrease the amount of monthly mortgage payments. Struggling to cover all expenses and paying a high monthly mortgage is becoming more difficult. Walking away from the mortgage is becoming more of an option. Isn't there a way to allow home owners who are NOT delinquent with their mortgage, but below the 20%, be able to apply for a mortgage refinance without taking a hit to their credit?

Hi I would like to know why my wife and me pay in 10000.00 in taxes, and both claim 0 all year and at the end of the year we still owe 4000.00 more? We know several people that make less than 15000.00 a year do not even pay in 5000.00 in taxes and are getting back 10000.00 or more. There is something seriously wrong with this picture. Nobody should get back more than they pay in. Somebody needs to look into this. This really hurts the people like us that are out working hard and barley making ends meet. And people wonder why we are in such bad shape. Thank you for reading.
