It's so obvious he murdered her. His mother said (regarding the 911 call) that there was quiet desperation in his voice....the only quiet desperation I heard, was when the operator caught him lying about pulling her out of the pool.

The mistress was lucky they didn't know she was pregnant prior, otherwise she would likely have been the one that ended up dead. And for future reference for the mistress - when a person loves and respects you, they wouldn't have sex with you until they've left their spouse. You were simply a conquest for him. He saw your desperation in wanting to be loved and took advantage of it. All he wanted was a place to put his dick.

WHY WHY WHY do seemingly intelligent people choose to murder their mate instead of getting a divorce??? Do they really think that child support, joint custody and bad feelings will be worse than a LIFE sentence in prison??? Or worse the death penalty??? Just get a freakin divorce...

I dont feel sorry for the mistress . I am happy she is suffering! she shouldnt have been so selfish. She broke a family apart!! 4 children were left without a mother...and her children probably dont respect her anymore, she should have divorced her man first then started looking for another man..preferably a man that is not married!!...her sobbing at the end does nothing for me bc if the story would have ended to her benefit she wouldnt have been sorry at all!!..she is just sorry that it didnt end well...

My heart goes out to everyone involved, including the misguided mistress, except for the cold, calculating, selfish, arrogant murderer, the husband. I do believe even the worst murderer can receive forgiveness from God, however, and if that happens, then he will confess to his family and give them what they need, the truth.

The victim looked so much like Candace Bergen to me, and the defense lawyer looked like The Fonze. Sadly, though, this story is true.

I feel for the mistress (sorry, can't remember her name). She is a good person at heart and deserves the forgiveness she asks for. I also feel for her because that baby will be a reminder all her life of this sad chapter in her life. If her husband can find it in his heart to forgive her and go on, I believe he can have a happy life with this lady. Marriage can survive infidelity, and sometimes that marriage can be even better. I pray that no one makes the little love child suffer for their mistakes. He deserves a good life, too.

I wouldn't have convicted him. I didn't see any proof in this report that he did it. Husband's dna under wife's fingernails? Well, my dna is definitely under my girlfriend's fingernails. And good for her.

My heart goes out to the children for they lost both of their parents due to the selfishness of their father and his mistress. I also feel sorry for the baby the mistress had, what a legacy to be born into.... my parents had an affair and my dad killed my stepmother. Because of their actions, he may never know his siblings. I shouldn't say it but the husband and the mistress deserve each other and they should both be locked up because she knew he was going to do something to his wife. May God have mercy on both of them cause we reap what we sow.
