- I think President Obama is a good leader, however...He was elected by the majority for "change", now he says he is losing touch with the common American and when he spoke at the DNC and encouraged Democrats to work with the republicans I was surprised. The republicans are the ones who crashed the economy to begin with and as far as I can see, they have no desire to do anything for the working class citizen. If either party doesn't realize that existing laws/government needs to do more to help recreate a middle class, then a "third" party might emerge and that is frightening. Most of us old enough can look back years ago and remember a "green party" that pretty much split votes of the other two candidates. With the Democrats and the republicans you know what you're getting and where they stand on most issues but with a third party you can never really be sure what you are getting. Beware...
