See all 20 CommentsI hope we draw from so unfortunate episode to rally together and fix and repay what we sucked out of them and rebuilt their countries as it should be order for all be safe when visiting "those countries" knowingly our love ones will return safe and sound. Haiti has been neglected and taken her wealth away from the begining of time when she fought for independence from the French. Undermined her independence and government and kidnaping head of states and turn a blind eye from the elite doing injustice to the mass. When have anyone ever heard that a family owned a port of any country. Such amenity belong to the government to better the lives of the people from ships/ revenues coming into the country should NOT belong to Mervs family.
Several years ago I had predicted that when the planet Pluto traveled into the constellation Capricorn that all material "institutions" that had been constructed or built such as governments, buildings, infrastructures etc would be shaken to their foundations. Most of these would be start in the island area fault lines and continue to get stronger next month when Jupiter travels into Pisces. For the next 12 years what has seemed to be organized governments and so called organized religions as we know it will disintegrate. The first symptom of this is fear based polarization of irrational fanatical ideas as we see on Fox News and radicalizing of any kind of religion including Christianity or into military action.
Anything to generate fear to polarize people is the same old guard of control. Remember all polarizing ideas are designed to be divisive instead of united. There is no real governing authority that we can actually see, we need to be responsible for our selves, our own reactions, and choices. If anything is to be remembered by events of 9-11 is that destruction of the unbelievable did and was allowed to happen here and we are not indestructible. Katrina was allowed due to neglect for 30 years of the levy's and then fear again.
Destruction and denial unfortunately like some diseases is silent and through our constant denial grows anyway within rotting away all our souls decent parts until there is nothing left to give and Deus ex Machina has nothing more it can take from us.
I ASK EVERYONE WHO WATCHES THESE. THINK ABOUT THE KIDS AND THAT THEY HAVE NO ONE TO HELP THEM EXCEPT YOU.
PLEASE DONATE TO ANY ORGANIZATION YOU CAN FIND THAT IT TRULY HELPING HAITI SURVIVORS. HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE ARE STILL DYING EVEN WHEN THEY HAVE SOMEONE TO HELP THEM BUT THEY CAN'T WITHOUT ANY SUPPLIES. PLEASE HELP!!!.
GOB BLESS YOU!!! AND YOUR FAMILY.

We ARE lucky enough to be born here and have a chance at much better lives, some to the point that they expect it or assume this is the norm. The people born there cannot help where they were born. As far as the overpopulation, you can thank the church (almost 80% catholic) that bars birth control, lack of education and again, lack of financial wherwithal. Our nation uses 20% of the planets resources despite being a much smaller percentage of population. And some here are out there saying "OH Gee, thats too bad. That's their problem."?
If we can spend billions to go across the world to wage war, and yet we claim to be the "caring big brother or leader of the world", cetainly we can spare a drop in the bucket, in comparison to better a place we've had our hand in keeping down at times, along with our French buddies. It's easy to see where the term "ugly American" arises. I for one am seeing how appreciative the majority of people there are of our help, and think we could use a little positive PR for a change.
I was in NY when the towers went down. Politics went out the window and the city pulled together to help one another. We ought to be able to do the same for our even poorer brothers in other parts of the world.
