If people have been living in some sort of a communal way for centuries, can capitalism be thrust upon them.
There is a group of people in the Amazon who have little concept of Personal Possession. In their community for example, canoes are shared resources. You only have to take care of the item and return it.
The point is that our new ways of economies... private investment, credit, mortgages, investment banks, stock exchanges etc. These things are really foreign to some people on the planet. And with all the jobs sent to China, Vietnam etc. Has the standard of living in those countries really increased? It seems that shareholders and corporate execs in the Western world reap the bulk of the benefits. I mean so many clothes is made in the third world now because the labour is cheaper we're told. But has the retail prices of sneakers, dresses and so on dropped in proportion to the cheaper labour involved? No. It has meant more profits.
Can't these people be left to their own economic practices. Why must the Western-styled 'private investment' which has often led to big corporations screwing people, be the solution. These Afghans have their century's old systems... can't we just help them to continue doing peacefully what they have been doing for thousands of years (minus the Taliban)?
Oh yeah?! I betchya my dad could beat up your dad! -- ya f'ugly, good for-nuthin' poo-poo face! Poo-poo face INFINITY!!! -- to the power of INFINITY!!!

I have to agree that the 9/11 attack was not committed by foreign terrorists alone.
It doesn't take a genius to see how our leaders have lied to us and been bought out by the corporate fascists that created our recession and triggered massive unemployement with union busting to boot.
after all we need a Reason to attack Iran. have we not learned that the CIA is not to be trusted with their fabricated evidence ?
the only way to get public support would be to cause Murder and Mayhem once more. which Building is ear marked for destruction now ?
