When did Simon become a preacher? How many times did he ask the guy if he was sorry, if he regretted his action, what affect did it have on his family, and on and on,my god give it a rest.I don't care if he feels repentant or not. Why was it so important to get the guy to do a Mea Culpa. And if you are going there then what about " let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

BooHoo, Poor Little Referee never had any power over his actions! Not!

I have no sympathy for this character who enjoyed the fast life of being the ref (telling everyone else what and how to do things) and ran with the more dangerous element of our society while making lots of money that I'm sure he never claimed on his taxes. I hope his family has been able to distance themselves from this embicile and his elicit earnings.

Sincerely, WenderJax

Its obvious the guy is lying from this clip - not just by his facial expressions, but by his answers. He even has to cite the FBI investigation results as support! Why would he need to do that if he was telling the truth?? Hopefully the interviewer followed up and challenged him on this, and also hopefully asked some tougher questions than the ones shown in this clip!

What? LOL. Are we supposed to believe he didn't fix the games? How ridiculous. He even admitted that he altered games for a measly 50 dollar bet. Imagine what he would do for the real cash? Donaghy's book is a bunch of lies, if he can't admit the most obvious thing, he fixed the games. Ironically I read Steve Alpers novel The Steam, which is just about to be released, and is being dubbed, you got it, "the book the nba doesn't want you to read." It tells the story that Stern Buried and that Donaghy will never admit, to....It's about a sports gambler who links up with a corrupt NBA ref and they go on gambling/ game-fixing spree. The Steam shows how a dirtbag like Donaghy can fix a game with the power of the whistle. It's actually a great, read and funny as hell at times. I guess one can say The Steam is truly the book the NBA doesn't want you to read.
