Doctor: You are to take this statin for the rest of your life.
Patient: But my levels are already lower than average.
Doctor: Never mind that. Lower is better.
Patient: But how much lower? Isn't cholesterol without which one would perish in an instant an essential substance for life and limb?
Doctor: Uh?
