- I normally don't respond to ignorance but I could not ignore the snide remark made by Ms Carlin re our President, PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA! Yes, he is our president. . .he was voted in by the majority of the American people and Ms. Carlin & her ilk need to get over themselves! If he were not a black man, you would be kissing his behind 2x on Sunday. He did not create this present mess. . .your hero George Bush did. He did not purchase the Nobel Prize. He won it because they recognize that this man is concerned about the state of the world. It's interesting that the accomplishments of Black Americans are always recognized by other countries before they are given accolades here in America. The only thing Ms. Carlin & other ignorant racists see is the color of his skin. Ms Carlin you are dangerous because you are in a position to foster racism with snide remarks such as your statement today. I'm also disgusted by the encouraging comment made by Ms Rodriquez a minority. . .yes Ms. Rodriquez you are a minority and when the chips are down, you will be reminded of your status. James Baldwin once said, "When they come for Angela in the morning, they'll come for us in the evening." A poignant reminder that you may be riding high now, but in the minds of most of white America, if you are not Anglo-Saxon white, you are not safe!
